need a simply configuration for calling in/out to PSTN
Hi all, I have configured Asterisk to call to PSTN phone from our IP phone, But I am unable to call my IP phone from a PSTN phone (If I called any number between 21494350 and 21494399, the card should route my call to my IP phone, IF my configuration was correct). I have done my research and gathered bits and pieces of information (which are vague by the way) but still cannot call my IP phone from

Suggestion: use Open-Mesh/BATMAN to help with layer 2/3 routing?
http://www.open-mesh.org/ Idea #1: is BATMAN worth considering using as part of the layer 2 routing in Tinc? Idea #2: would it be possible to embed BATMAN as an option to avoid having to use Quagga for routing v6 subnets? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

[PATCH] average: change to declare precision, not factor
From: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg at intel.com> Declaring the factor is counter-intuitive, and people are prone to using small(-ish) values even when that makes no sense. Change the DECLARE_EWMA() macro to take the fractional precision, in bits, rather than a factor, and update all users. While at it, add some more documentation. CallerID forward???
Here is the situation that I would like to create: Call comes in Receptionist sees that the caller ID is Jenny <8675309> Receptionist picks up phone and transfers call to Batman Batman looks at his phone and sees that the caller ID is Jenny <8675309> I can't seem to figure out how to forward the caller ID. Is this possible with Asterisk?

Boot live usb without hard disk, could reduce performance?
This is my situation: My internal hard disk is broken so I've removed it and thrown it off the window. [Laughing] So I've installed Debian Live on my usb and next I've downloaded Wine from the repository suggested. Then I've tried to run Carmageddon II and Soldat. The setup for both goes ok and they starts good. The problem is with the hardware accelleration. It's slow, really

Adtran supervision problems
I am sending a call down a E&M wink trunk to a adtran tsu600 channelbank. The extension is setup like so... exten=>799179,1,Dial(zap/g2,20,D(9179)) exten=>799179,2,Hangup() It should Dial the Adtran and send some DTMF signals to a telephone on an fxs module in the Adtran. Asterisk is seeing the call answered when the T-1 is picked up by the Adtran not when the ringing phone is answered.

Does Asterisk support T1 E&M Wink/Wink voicechannels on any Digium/Sangoma hardware?
I could only get *ANI*DNIS* working one way and that was setting my signalling type on the Asterisk side to 'featd' The Definity won't send *ANI*DNIS* information back to the asterisk as far as I can tell. Other than that, I've been running it with wink/wink E&M for a while now. TN464 circuit pack on the definity side, te110p on the asterisk side. Just a crossover cable
