semi-OT: t-bird mime type on .pdf attachment is wrong
I was sending my manager a copy of a form, and attached it (not inline), using -t-bird, and he complains it didn't want to open. Looking at the message source, t-bird had decided that the mime type was all/allfiles, though the name ended in .pdf. I've searched via the config editor, and I've been googling, and not finding anything. (I just *adore* the current google: I have

install rrdtools-devel / rrdtool-perl
Im very sorry. You were right, yum install works flawlessly for rrdtool, rrdtool-devel and rrdtool-perl packages. I tryed on a fresh centos7 install. The problem is that my Os is not a centos7 instead is a redhat 7. Since I dont have any support for this , I asked some help here. I thought that repositories are the same for fedora, redhat and centos. My mistake ... I dont know what to do now.

selinux policy remnant according to /bin/ls on CentOS 6.0 box
I installed CentOS 6.0 on 2 different x86_64 boxen. Both originally had selinux installed and enabled. I never touched selinux other than to remove as much of it as I could via rpm -e. As far as I can tell, here are the remaining packages that have something to do with it: # rpm -qa | grep -iE 'sel|pol' checkpolicy-2.0.22-1.el6.x86_64 libselinux-2.0.94-2.el6.x86_64

HA Mailbox Design
Hi, We would like to implement a Highly Available Mail Server and would like to ask advice on how to architect this. Some details on our setup: Currently we have only one internal mail server (Postfix/Dovecot 2.0 - planning to move to 2.1), receiving mail from a gateway server (filtering spam/viruses) - a Cisco Ironport - which we are considering to replace with one (or a set of)

R Error : DATA to MATRIX
Dear Sir/Madam, I'm getting a problem with a R-code which converts a data frame to a matrix. It first generate a (m^(n-m) * m) matrix A and then regenerate another matrix B having less dimension than A which satisfy some condition. Now I wish to assign each row of B to a vector as individual. My problem is when I set any choice of (n,m) except m=1 it works fine but setting m=1 I got the

[Fwd: Re: [R-downunder] Beware unclass(factor)] (PR#9641)
It really is unclear what is claimed to be a bug here. But see https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-devel/2007-May/045592.html for why the bug is not in R: your old and new data do not match. Your fit is to a category. [The problem with the web interface to R-bugs was reported last week: it is being worked on.] On Mon, 30 Apr 2007, r.darnell at uq.edu.au wrote: > This is a multi-part
