RFC 5922 (TLS Certificates) and Asterisk
I've raised a bug report about this here: https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-19268 I'm just wondering who else has been investigating RFC 5922 style certificate practices? Which CAs have been able to provide appropriate certificates? What kind of interoperability testing has been done between the major products (e.g. Asterisk, Kamailio, OpenSIPS, reSIProcate/repro)?

SRV record for non-standard SIP port?
Hello To cut down on the number of hackers trying to break into an Asterisk server, I'd like to simply move the SIP port from the standard UDP 5060 to something non-standard. Since this server must be able to receive INVITEs from any SIP UA (server or client), it appears that I must add an SRV record in the DNS so that they can locate the server and the port used to reach it. _sip._udp SRV

SUGGESTION: Use JIRA for Bug Reporting, Package Development and Project Management
Dear R Developers, I started programming in R just last January, for which I read (, summarized and memorized) 2 incredible R Programming books: "R Cookbook" and "R Graphics Cookbook". However, I did before know how to program in MariaDB SQL language, and had submitted for their bug platform previously some bugs (https://jira.mariadb.org/projects/MDEV/issues), which is based

Erroneous email from JIRA
Greetings, If you have an account on issues.asterisk.org and just received an email about having an account created on a JIRA server, please ignore and accept our apologies for the accidental message. We were doing some test migrations of data from issues.asterisk.org into a newer issue tracking system and forgot to disable email first. Thanks, -- Russell Bryant Digium, Inc. | Engineering

dovecot duplicate emails
Hello. I have problems with duplicate emails when using replication and configured message filters on the client. Looks like when letter comes, it processed by replication and immediately after this processed by filter on client and moved to another folder. When it arrives to slave server into INBOX, it replicated back to master into INBOX and only after that - slave receives MOVE command. The

SSL with startssl.com certificates
I'm using Dovecot 2.2.5. I'm setting up and new IMAPS server for personal use (i.e. only me). I have success with self-signed certificates but not with others (e.g. StartSSL.com) With StartSSL certs: I've been able to connect and test commands via: openssl s_client -connect imaps.unixathome.org:993 Can you configure your iPhone or Macbook to access the above? PJSIP and Kamailio without registration
OK, it stopped working. It turns out the transport and endpoints in PJSIP are ok. I can send an invite from my unregistered snom phone and I can see some activity in the CLI. However, when I dial from my snom to Kamailio and have it pass the message to asterisk, PJSIP seems to ignore the sip messages even though they are there. Is there something wrong in the invite that I'm missing? U
