(I hope the ASCII art doesn't get mangled)
I have been working a while trying to get a big picture of how Linux
handles sound processing and after much work I have put together this
little representation of what I have learned.
Please send me any additional comments or components that I may have
missed.
I hope it helps somebody though who may be struggling in getting
sound to work and

dm-crypt/LUKS the state of the art for block device encryption?
it's been a while since i've played with filesystem encryption so,
on centos 5.4 (and other linux distros), is dm-crypt/LUKS considered
to be the state of the art WRT encryption? i remember other solutions
like loop-aes and others, but what's considered the gold standard
these days?

I have a CentOS (6.8) box running as Dom0 that uses
xen-4.6.3-4.el6.x86_64.rpm
kernel-3.18.44-20.el6.x86_64.rpm
and friends from the virt repo.
I can get a basic X environment (Vesa driver) when running in non-Xen mode
but, when booting into the hypervisor, that fails.
I've tried one suggestion, adding a nopat to the kernel invocation, but that
hasn't helpd although I'm sure the

Hi there,
I am trying to perform different normality tests in R. I have no problem
when I use Shapiro.test( ). However, when I try to use any normality
tests from the Nortest package, I kept getting this error " Error in
read.table(source, header = T, fill = T) :
'file' must be a character string or connection". I have no idea
why because there was no problem with

Media traffic will be encrypted when someone will implement it on client
side, however even then, Called and Callee will be in clear.
