Good news Ubuntu`s update fixed problems in CoreDRAW 9
Its February 6, 2012. I just downloaded all the updates to Ubuntu 11.10 64bit. I think the updates just came out today. It was a bigger package of updates than the others I have installed in the past. I do not know what they did but whatever it was, it fixed most of the problems in CorelDRAW 9. I gave it a rating of bronze, and that was being generous, just a few days ago. It seems as thou

Do I have four applications of Application.
I went to load some clipart in CorelDRAW 9 from the second CD. When I right click on the clipart icon on the CD. Up comes the box asking open with. Then I selected other application and scrolled down to CorelDRAW and there were four CorelDRAW icons. I opened the clipart twice using different CorelDRAW icons each time. Now at the "open with option" there are two corelDRAW options.

loaded Unreal Tournament (GTOY) runs choppy Ubuntu 11.10
I loaded Unreal Tournament in wine 1.3.37 and everything works that I tried but the video is choppy. The sound was not choppy but the video was. It did not matter if I was playing online or the bots on my computer the video was choppy. I tried raising and lowering the video resolutions and it did not seem to effect the problem for better or worse. I am using Ubuntu 64 bit 11.10. I am on an AMD

CorelDRAW X3
I have seen screenshots of CorelDRAW X3 running in Wine, but have no idea, how to get this working. How do I convert normal CD version into "portable"? I'd really love to get rid of VirtualBox running WinXP just for CorelDRAW. I would even pay for a complete, step-by-step instructions that will result in CorelDRAW X3 running properly in Wine. My setup: Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty 64-bit,

CorelDRAW X3 installation problems
I'm using Wine 1.2-rc6 with Kubuntu 10.04 and for some reason, the installation doesn't work. I already read in the AppDB that it doesn't install on 10.04 but there's a workaround. What should I do to get it working? Thanks, ElWray

[PATCH] virtio_balloon: include buffers and chached memory statistics
Add a new fields, VIRTIO_BALLOON_S_BUFFERS and VIRTIO_BALLOON_S_CACHED, to virtio_balloon memory statistics protocol. The values correspond to 'Buffers' and 'Cached' in /proc/meminfo. To be able to compute the value of 'Cached' memory it is necessary to export total_swapcache_pages() to modules. Signed-off-by: Tom?? Golembiovsk? <tgolembi at redhat.com> ---

Problem with automatic mounting of disc drive (Ubuntu 11.10)
Hi! First of all, WINE is great! There is only one little inconvenience for me: I am using WINE 1.2 under Ubuntu 11.10. It automatically mounts CDs and DVDs at /media/(disc name). So whenever I insert a new disc, I have to change the configuration of WINE which is a bit annoying. I could not find any help via Google. On ubuntuforum.org I was told to point WINE to the device itself (/dev/sr0)
