Sure, I can provide. What is SIS? How did you determine I don't use it (I still learn)? :) These links: https://www.dovecot.org/tools/maildir-obfuscate.pl https://www.dovecot.org/tools/dbox-anonymize.pl gives 403. How to run mbox-anonymize.pl? I suppose I should download it to mailserver. 2018-08-29 7:45 GMT+02:00 Aki Tuomi <aki.tuomi at dovecot.fi>: > Based on this you are not

list all emails from command line?
This is not strictly Dovecot question, but a more general IMAP one. I'm running a Dovecot server and have a user who is claiming that some email sent to him, say, on 30 May, showed up in his mailbox on 02 Jun. I've checked Postfix logs, and the message was correctly received on 30 May and passed to Dovecot. A similar issue happens every few days. This leaves me with two possibilities:

site-site vpn setup..
There is a reason most NMS systems used SNMP in the past and REST apis past 7+ years. They don't use CLIs except toy Expect type scripts.. Not just security but better error handling and more. Good luck learning! On Thu, Mar 29, 2018 at 9:03 AM, Tomasz Chmielewski <mangoo at wpkg.org> wrote: > SNMP is mainly used for monitoring, not _server_ automation. > > Also, it's

SNMP is mainly used for monitoring, not _server_ automation. Also, it's inherently insecure for anything else - only SNMPv3 offers any kind of encryption, and it's DES - 56 bit only, and you can easily brute-force it on an average computer. If you could provide some serious articles about why is CLI insecure, I'd be interested to read. Tomasz Chmielewski https://lxadm.com On

Al like any open-source or free sofware you need to put the leg work into what you want it to be. My company is actually creating something using TINC and we believe in it. If successful we'll be giving back to TINC monetarily in a big way to make TINC even better so if TINC isn't for you keep an eye on further developments in the future. Remote subnet browsing using Samba for WINS.
Been experimenting with Samba as a WINS server. Need a WINS server as I am using VPN tunneling. My goal was to set up a central WINS server and have all the computers talk to it for NetBIOS name resolution. In the end I was hoping to have only one Samba server. I have currently worked with: Samba 2.2.7B on a uclinux. Samba 3.0.10 on RedHat. Samba 3.0.10 on Slackware. Samba 3.0.10 on FreeBSD.

Sorry, I have checked before I wrote first post. Based on docs - the path should be in /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf or /etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-mail.conf (I have Ubuntu 16.04 LTS). I have some familiar lines in 10-mail.conf: #mail_attachment_dir = #mail_attachment_min_size = 128k #mail_attachment_fs = sis posix #mail_attachment_hash = %{sha1} but all these lines are commented out. So - in theory -

Windows LMB and Samba DMB problems.
Note: LMB = Local Master Browser DMB = Domain Master Browser Have Samba 2.2.7A running embedded in a variant of ucLinux. My interest was only to use Samba as a WINS server. I've set up the SMB.CONF with this config. for one test: wins support = yes local master = no domain master = yes preferred master = no os level = 0 I've set up the SMB.CONF with this config. for the other

nmblookup question
I'm running Samba 1.9.18p8. If I use nmblookup to query the name of an NT server, as in nmblookup -A <ip address> then a packet trace shows an RPC reply coming back and nmblookup displays a list of names belonging to the NT server. If I try the same query on a Windows 95 machine, nmblookup only says Looking up status of <ip address> No status response (this is not unusual)
