CentOS 7, man
This is... odd. >From my workstation, where I'm directly logged in, if I ssh to any CentOS 7 box, as myself, and try to run man, it fails. Example 1: man dd man: cannot write to /var/cache/man/cat1/dd.1.gz in catman mode dd. Example 2: man dd man: can't chmod (null): Bad address man: can't unlink (null): Bad address dd. error trying to get PJSIP working
I'm doing an upgrade from Asterisk 11 to 13. I'm following the guide at https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/ast/setting+up+PJSIP+REaltime to setup realtime, as I use realtime on Asterisk 11 too. I'm getting the following error when trying to connect the peer to the server. Help? :) Thanks, Travis [Jun 15 16:20:03] NOTICE[5116] res_odbc.c: res_odbc: Connected to laf [laf] [Jun

Hi, I'm running samba-3.0.14a_1,1 under FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE. I migrated all my data from samba 2 to samba 3, and I'm having a problem with some users. For example, user john can login perfectly to the network. It?s ok. But user smith not, him get the error ?The network name cannot be found?. But all configurations of john and smith are the same. I found this on Samba Official Hanbook:

SELinux issue?
I've recently built a new mail server with centos6.5, and decided to bite the bullet and leave SELinux running. I've stumbled through making things work and am mostly there. I've got my own spam and ham corpus as mbox files in /home/user/Mail/learned. These files came from my backup of the centos 5 server this machine is replacing. The folder is owned by the user (the following is

Could not retrieve catalog from remote server: certificate verify failed
Hi guys, I''m trying to setup my first puppet installation and I''m running into problems. I''ve got the puppetmaster running on a fresh install of Centos 5.4. The puppet client is also on another Centos 5.4 server. Once I''ve signed the client certificate on the puppetmaster, the client seems to break. See below for the debug output from the client. Any clue as

ACL ignored on cifs mounted share
Hello, I have the problem that the ACLs are ignored when I mount a share via cifs. I have an AD with Samba 4.1.6 Ubuntu 14.04 (but I also tried it with Gentoo and samba 4.1.14). So I joined a member server like the wiki describes. Everything works fine. I can manage the users and permissions with the RSAT tools. For the linux side I use rfc2307 and winbind on the member. So every user and

using nut to monitor SNMP UPS unit
Hi all, I've been trying to build NUT (latest release source) on a pretty "standard" CentOS (RHEL style) linux box, to monitor an APC Symmetra UPS Unit which powers our server room and broadcasts information via SNMP to appropriate clients. I am having some trouble even encouraging NUT to build with snmp support, which doesn't seem to happen by default. I am curious if anyone

still ACL bug in 3.0.14a
Sparc Solaris / UFS file system. I have some ACL's set up for a handful of users and its all worked flawlessly with every incarnation of Samba I've used over the past couple years, which would be most. Last Friday evening I upgraded from 3.0.11 to 3.0.13 and some of the users I have some ACL's set up for promptly found Monday that they couldn't save new Excel files, they'd be

001: RELIABILITY FIX: March 15, 2013
Can someone please provide me with a little more information about this. It could be the source of some issues I am seeing with mpirun/mpiexec.hydra/ssh (post earlier today), and information about what it leads to (and any signatures) would be helpful. [LLVMdev] svnsync of llvm tree
I'm trying to setup a svnsync copy of the entire llvm svn tree. I get the svnsync repository initialized, and then the first 67357 revisions get copied without issue. And then it attempts to get rvisions 67358 from llvm.org, and it fails. Repeatably. It transfers about 22MB of data for this revision, and then dies: lidl at hydra-146: svnsync sync file:///p/llvm/svn Transmitting file data
