Asterisk on ClarkConnect
Has anyone tried installing Asterisk on ClarkConnect? It looks like ClarkConnect runs on RHEL so it should work if they haven't modified it too much. It appears that ClarkConnect is working on adding Asterisk and integrating it into their GUI but until then I'd also be interested in trying to use FreePBX. Anyone?

Feature Request
How much trouble would it be to have the name of the .subscriptions file set via the configuration file, or failing that, as a compile-time option? I find that editing the source directly is a bit of a harrowing experience, particularly when doing it as part of a package management system such as an RPM or the FreeBSD ports tree. -- Jay Chandler Network Administrator, Chapman University

[Fwd: Re: School Server Setup]
Hi Harry, Has much has I like Centos and RH for big sophisticated setup, it would not be my first choice for your project. For 25 systems and if you want this done without spending to much time, Clarkconnect would by my first choice for server side OS (#2 would be SME). For me CentOS x64 is #1 choice for enterprise (+500 users with Terabytes of storage ) sever solution. If you have little

Trouble with NUT?
I'm a linux newbie and having some trouble with NUT, can anyone assist? I've read the FAQ and various articles online by Peter Sellinger and others thoroughly. OS is ClarkConnect 4.2, which is based on CentOS4/RHEL 4. UPS is an APC SmartUPS 1500 (USB). Correct driver is believed to be usbhid-ups. No RPM for my OS was available past 2.0, so I built from source using NUT 2.2. I think

Problems authentication against ADS on a W2K3 Server
I'm trying to get Samba set up to use ADS authentication against a Windows 2003 Server running in native mode. I have successfully joined the domain, and kinit user@MYDOMAIN.DOM works successfully. I can also use smbclient to connect to shares on the local machine, so Samba is basically working. However, when I try to connect from a Windows machine I get [C:\]net use \\unx02\pub The

Xen bridge and NIC via PCI Pass through
Hi, I am trying to virtualize a few boxes including my Clarkconnect firewall. My plan is to use the PCI pass through to pass the WAN interface to CC running on DomU. Since my ISP provides me with two IPs I would like to add another virtual server bridged to the NIC running on CC. Can anyone offer some advice on how I can do this? Migrating an NT4 domain to a Samba PDC - How to limit users access to only certain machines?
Hello! We are converting an old windows NT domain to a Samba domain. All appears well in testing, however we need to limit certain users to have permission only to log in to their specific workstation. If someone tried logging into my workstation with their account (even though their account is a valid domain account) - I need it to reject the attempt. Is there an easy way to do this? Is it

Solution to XP/2000 joining Samba 2.2.x Domain Problem!
I finally found the solution that many people faced about joining a samba 2.2.x domain with XP or 2000 I've recently upgraded a Win98SE to WinXP, and attempt to join this to the Samba Domain (of ver 2.2.2), which already have 2 Win2000 as member. However, although the XP accept the Domain Joining, it denied me to log into the domain after a reboot, so I tried to view the System Event in the
