Hi, I'm a tad confused about something. I've got a production instance of Samba running. I am trying to get a test version running on the same box, with the same SID. Without the test server running, I used "net setlocalSID <oldsid>" (the net binary is the one for the new server). Then when I issued 'net getlocalsid' it returned it. I thought I was fine.

Hi, I've tried to search for the problem on the lists without finding a solution. I'm trying to recreate a crashed PDC system on a new system with samba 3.0.4. To solve this issue, I am now trying to upgrade from the (latest) CentOS 3.5 packages, to the "Enterprise Samba" 3.6 packages from enterprisesamba.org. After upgrading, the SID changed, so I changed it back to the old value.
