My understanding for LDAP is, this step is not needed any more since we will put all machine account into "ou=Computers". But I am proved to be wrong. Is this the way Samba works? I

Hello, I want to configure a Samba server to serve as an "archive" where users would be allowed to read, write new files, but not overwrite or delete them once they're there.
