When installing Mandrake 9.0 with the higher security option you cannot ping any of it interfaces, localhost (127.0.0.1) included. I am having great difficulty getting X11 forwarding to work between my openssh server (Linux Mandrake 6.1) and my openssh client (Caldera OpenLinux 2.x). I seem to have a problem with wine that has me stumped, wine runs apps fine, but when i go to open a file under the app, i get a debug message. Has anyone seen something like this before?
