samba 3.0a21+pdc+ldap+pam_ldap - add machines [Can anyone help?]
Well I installed a21 and I was able to add a machine account. The first time it comes back bad password, then the second attempt it works. But now when i restart and try to login it says it cant find the computer account. Am I missing something(yes i have signorseal)? smbclient not using winbind to authenticate
Hi All I am using the samba 3.0.14a RPMs installed on SuSE 9.2. I have a PDC running on one machine, using tdbsam as a backend - this has been running fine for months. I am not trying to set up a standalone server in another office, which should authenticate with the PDC using winbind, as per the "The 500-User office" chapter of samba by example :

Having a problem ...
Running a Windows 2000 domain; recently we've made some security changes to deny anonymous users from being able to get at our user list. It would appear that one of my Domain Controllers hadn't been rebooted after that security change, and now that it has been rebooted, I can't mount smb shares off of one of our if the security setting is in place. Samba and Cisco's WebVPN
Hi All, I'm posting this just in case someone can tell what's going on with samba that would prevent this from working. Cisco has the ability to see a smb share from their webvpn product with CIFS. Problems with printing=plp
Hello, i've some problems with the plp printer spooler on linux: I changed from bsd printing to plp printing. Previously (with bsd style printing) i was able to browse and delete active printjobs, stop and activate printers from within the win9x/winnt boxes. After changing to plp this is no longer possible.
