"DRQ after issuing write" error
While writing a file to an ext3 filesystem, i get some drive errors on the console. I guess is a drive/ide related problem more that a ext3 one, but anyway the debug output is here if you want to take a look. And, by the way, what means that DRQ thing?? Shared printers are shown up only after 15 minutes on the Windows clients
After updating our Samba Active Directory Domain Controller from Samba 4.1.6 to 4.3.4 it takes 15 minutes now until all shared printers are shown up on the Windows clients, after our server has started. Although this is not a big problem, because our server is running 24 hours a day, i wan't to fix this. :-) The CUPS error log says: [11/Jun/2016:14:44:39 +0200] Unknown directive

Can't access opaque symlinks pointing to another Samba mount
Computer A runs my samba server. Has unix extensions = off, wide links = on (don't think this one matters with unix extensions off...) This way, if I have a symlink on my shares, clients see it as a normal file, not as a symlink. This works fine, even for symlinks to files outside the shares paths. Except when the symlink points to a file that is on a CIFS mount. So say I have computer B

Libvirt: dynamic ownership did not work
Hi, I have a very strange problem with libvirt. I work on some machines with libvirt (Debian/ Arch Linux) and libvirt set the ownership of images file automatically to the qemu user / group for example on Arch Linux to nobody:kvm. So when I copy an image file with root and use I then with qemu, libvirt change the owner/ group to nobody:kvm. But I also compiled libvirt for a machine (gcc 4.9.4

ext3 0.9.6 for kernel 2.4.9
This is just a rediff and retest - no ext3 changes in this release. http://www.uow.edu.au/~andrewm/linux/ext3/ The latest diff is against linux-2.4.9. The version of ext3 in -ac kernels is current. -ac's ext3 has the "buffer tracing" debug code removed from the non-ext3 files, so the 2.4.9 diff is more useful for bug hunting. I should generate a diff against -ac to enable
