I have got the printing working with CUPS finally on all of my printer. Took a while but they are printing with no errors. I found out a few things. The problem is when act closes the locks are not being cleared. I can make it work by creating an additional share just for the database that has no locking at all, but I think I am risking data corruption. I don't need access to the database simultaneously so if anyone knows how to force the locks to be cleared when I exit act so the next person can get it that

I have found another printing problem on my print server. The printer is an HP2000C. Printing using cups. The print queue is set up as a RAW printer. It should be just pass through. I am using the same print driver as on the Novell that works fine. The problem is before each print job a single page gets printed with a %! at the top of the page and nothing else.
