Assertion failure in journal_flush()
Hi Steven, Hi ext3-users list! We encountered a reproduceable problem with ext3: When issuing a FIBMAP ioctl for a block written right before while the FS is under high load (RH build universe), the assertion !journal->j_running_transaction fails at the bottom of journal_flush() in fs/jbd/journal.c. We encountered this problem with the arch=s390x (64 bit big endian) bootloader zipl, I'll

ISDN PBX + IVR + Voicemail Configuration - Sanity Check ...
Hi All, First of all, please no flames about the footer of this message. It's being inserted into all outgoing email by the server here without asking me personally first once I send out email. Since I've been very interested in setting up an Asterisk PBX + IVR + Voicemail system to support a small business and a foundation for quite some time now, in order to replace their current ISDN

3x AVM Fritz!Card PCI for a EuroISDN PBX.
Hi there! I'm currently considering various PBX solutions for our office telephone network, and would very much like to use Asterisk. Currently, my research is incomplete. I have been recommended to use the above cards, but it is unclear from my Googling whether my configuration will work: - 3x Fritz!Card PCI's in one host. - 3x 6 b-channels. - ~20 Budgetone (and some others)

[PATCH -v2 0/3] jbd2 scalability patches
This version fixes three bugs in the 2nd patch of this series that caused kernel BUG when the system was under race. We weren't accounting with t_oustanding_credits correctly, and there were race conditions caused by the fact the I had overlooked the fact that __jbd2_log_wait_for_space() and jbd2_get_transaction() requires j_state_lock to be write locked. Larger SIP packets
Hi all, We would like to increase the size (sample length) of RTP packets sent by Asterisk to SIP phones. I gather that Asterisk currently always uses 20ms packets for RTP, although I can't find in the source where that's defined, unless it's in chan_zap.c. I'm guessing from [http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2003-September/019490.html] that it's not

PATCH for filesys corruption in ext3 with data=journal
Hi, as I mentioned in earlier mail to ext3-users I have been getting some corruption on an ext3 filesystem that has been serving NFS. I am now confident that I fully understand the problem and have a patch. It only affects data=journal mode and I wonder if it might also be the cause of the corruption noted by a number of people on linux-kernel. First I will explain the problem. Then display

making new initrd, how to do it?
I have installed the xen 3.1.0 x86_64 tarball compiled for RHEL5 on a RHEL5 system. The system in question was able to boot with the xen kernel that came with RHEL5. I untarred the tarball, and did cd /boot mkinitrd /boot/initrd-2.6.18-xen.img 2.6.18-xen The command exited properly and made a initrd image. The machine booted with a grub.conf entry like this: title Xen 3.1.0 root

[PATCH 0/3] ocfs2: Switch over to JBD2.
ocfs2 currently uses the Journaled Block Device (JBD) for its journaling. This is a very stable and tested codebase. However, JBD is limited by architecture to 32bit block numbers. This means an ocfs2 filesystem is limited to 2^32 blocks. With a 4K blocksize, that's 16TB. People want larger volumes. Fortunately, there is now JBD2. JBD2 adds 64bit block number support and some other

What is cast telling me?
Hi, What is cast telling me when it says the following? Aggregation requires fun.aggregate: length used as default What is 'length'? I've taken a small subset of data and wondered what EnTime vs ExTime might look like. cast is kind enough to give me a table but I don't understand the values in the table. They seem to sum up ro be the same as the total dimension of the data

folding table into a matrix
I'm just getting started with R, so feel free to point me to the appropriate documentation if this is already answered somewhere (though I've been unable to find it myself). This does seem like a rather basic question. I want to fold a table into a matrix. The table is formatted like so: Column_Index Value 1 486 2 688 3 447 4 555 5
