problem with samba on irix 6.5
I have a problem with samba 2.05a on my irix-6.5 box. Now I know this must be a user problem because I have run samba on this machine before. Samba compiles and runs fine and I have tried the precompiled version too. I have /tmp shared out as [tmp] and get the following messages in log.smb when I try to connect to it using smbclient from the localhost smbd version 2.0.5a started. Copyright

Hello, The last weekend, the VM with CentOS 7 (kernel-3.10.0-327.28.2.el7.x86_64) was running with 2.5GB of used memory, but without users connected, and heavy services running. Three minutes after reboot, the o.s. is running with 114MB used. ?Why the 62% of memory is used if the o.s. does not have an intensive load? top sorted by memory: top - 12:55:34 up 8 days, 21:41, 1 user, load

I have the default installation of samba (2.0.5) that came with Caldera OL 2.3, but it doesn't seem to be starting up properly, nor is SWAT working. When I run the script 'samba start', I get the message "Starting samba: smbd nmbd", but when I check the running processes, only nmbd shows up. INETD Question.
I'm currently running version 2.0.7 of samba(CIFS9000). I have HPUX 11.x installed on the samba server. When I try to run this from inetd it doesn't work. I can run a startup script that runs the smbd as a daemon and it works fine. But if I try to run it from inetd it won't start. The previous version of Samba 1.9.18p10 that I had on this server worked fine. Is this a bug in
