Setting default path to library
Hello
I recently upgraded from 2.11.1 to 2.12.0 on a windows machine. When I
launch R via TINN - R,(2.3.7.0) most things appear correct. The exception
is the path to the library.
I store all of the packages in C:\Program_Files \R\R-2.12.0\library
Last week when I upgraded I rec'd an error:
Error in loadNamespace(i[[1L]], c(lib.loc, .libPaths()))) :

This is a re-submittal of question I submitted last week, but haven't rec'd
any responses.
I need to extract the probabilities used to construct the barplots
displayed as part of the graph produced by plot("ctree").
For example,

plot(iris.ct)
Instead of a simple example with only 4 terminal nodes, my

but when he tried to do the install he rec'd a number of warnings. We are
not sure if the warnings are telling us that the installation did not occur
or if other issues are unresolved. We have attempted to find the ESS
executable with no luck,

Compilation problem
Hello. I am trying to compile samba 3.0.11 on OpenBSD 3.6. At first i
tried the ./configure with a number of switches, but when the make
failed, i redid it with just plain "./configure && make". The configure
works fine. The make runs for awhile but dies with this:

Samba 3.0.11 won't compile on Solaris 8
Samba 3.0.11 won't compile on my Solaris 8 machine. It keeps getting
compile errors in clitar, although I am using exactly the same
configuration options as in Samba 3.0.10.
Here is the basic configuration from config.log
$ ./configure --with-ldap --with-ads --with-acl-support --with-pam
--with-krb5=/usr/local --enable-shared --without-gnu-ld
--with-mysql-prefix=/usr/local/mysql

smbclient's tar_re_search broken?
Hi all,
My old and stable backup script don't work anymore.
It's based on smbclient's tar command using crX parameters for creating
archive, excluding files based on basic regular expressions.
The box is running Fedora core 2, fully updated:
kernel-2.6.8-1.521
samba-common-3.0.7-2.FC2
samba-client-3.0.7-2.FC2
The error is easily reproducible:
smbclient //ntpdc/share -A credfile \

samba-3.6.0 .spec anad patches for SRPM building for RHEL 5 and 6 at https://github.com/nkadel/samba-3.6.0-srpm
For folks who want samba-3.6.0 for RHEL 5 or 6, and would prefer to
have RHEL compatible layouts rather than the somewhat different
layouts of the packages at
http://ftp.samba.org/pub/samba/Binary_Packages/, I've published some
.spec files and patches at
https://github.com/nkadel/samba-3.6.0-srpm
I'm happy to walk through how to build these with "mock" to get very
clean

Looking for gfs2-kmod SRPM
I'm searching for the SRPM corresponding to this installed RPM.
% yum list | grep gfs2
gfs2-kmod-debuginfo.x86_64 1.92-1.1.el5_2.2
It is missing from:
http://msync.centos.org/centos-5/5/os/SRPMS/
What I need from the SRPM are the patches. I'm working through
some issues using the source code, and the patches in the RedHat

perl .spec / srpm
Hi
Can anyone here point me in the direction of a .spec or SRPM for Perl 5.12.4 for
CentOS6? Or even any newer version would do.
Whilst I'm asking, ditto a Perl-enabled version of OpenLDAP (latest stable
release)? IIRC, the version in the base repo has the Perl extensions disabled.
Thanks,
Nick

Asterisk SRPM and RPMs
Hello,
For those on Red Hat boxes I've have made an SRPM of Asterisk from
today's CVS at http://www.laimbock.com/dl/asterisk It is based on the
specfile included in Asterisk from cvs. The RPMs have been built on a
RH9 box.
Actually, there are more than one:
