Help with quota setting...
Good afternoon, guys!!!
I am wondering whom among you already have a quota set for your users?
You see, I am finding it hard to get a good combination between the
number of inodes to set and the number of blocks to set as well.
My ideal setting is at least 15MB to 20MB per user. I am using SuSE
7.0 kernel 2.2.16 using Samba 2.0.7.
Any ideas??? Any help regarding this would greatly help...

Samba and quotas
Hi all,
Being new on this list I do not really know if this is the correct list to post. After searching the archives I am pretty sure the answer is not yet here (or I can't search, which can be true)
My problem is as follows
We are currently testing a Linux/Samba server to host the home shares for about 1000 students at our school (the test is conducted with just 10 of them).

FW: setting quota per user
Chris,
the way I did the same thing a while back is by running edquota for each
user upon creation of their account. From memory there is a switch that
allows you to make a user's quota the same as anothers. So I setup a
"template" user that had quota the way I liked and then used him as the
template for all the other user accounts.
I have extracted from the quota mini howto the

cutree with agnes
Hi,
this is rather a (presumed) bug report than a question because I can solve
my personal statistical problem by working with hclust instead of agnes.
I have done a complete linkage clustering on a dist object dm with 30
objects with agnes (R 1.8.0 on
RedHat) and I want to obtain the partition that results from a cut at
height=0.4.
I run

scale_colour_viridis en ggplot2
De acuerdo a Bard;

TDM2400P dial tone is not present on phones, but the phone ring with incoming calls
Hi,
I have a problem with TDM2400P card. The card is detected ok, I can make a call but only with pulse dialing (not tone dialing) without hear sounds from the headset. When I receive a call, I can to establish a communication, but without hear sounds from the headset. When I dial any phone key, I can hear dtmf tone.
I'm using Elastix 1.5.2. These are my configuration files:

cluster.stats
Dear list,
I just tried to use the function cluster.stat in the package fpc.
I just have a couple of questions about the syntax:
cluster.stats(d,clustering,alt.clustering=NULL,
silhouette=TRUE,G2=FALSE,G3=FALSE)
1) the distance object (d) is an object obtained by the function dist() on
my own original matrix?
2) clustering is the clusters vector as result of one of the many clustering
methods?

Fwd: Samba 4 two DCs no matching UID/GID
What if I use uidNumber to avoid messing up with idmap.ldb? In the first
domain controller works fine, ignores idmap and use uidNumber, but this
attribute is not being replicated when a new user is created.
I explain myself a little deeper:
1-I have an AD DC, all users contain uidNumber. "wbinfo -i user" returns
uidNumber as expected.
2-I join a second DC. LDAP is replicated

Extension .v+ogg does work
Hello everyone,
As discussed on last Monthly Meeting, Monty settled on recommending
the extension .v+ogg for Theora files IF it would work on Linux.
Probably many have tested it already, but I haven't seen anything said
publically, so for the record, v+ogg works on both Windows and Linux.
Hadn't a chance to test it on Mac OS X, but I'm sure it should work
there too. And Plan 9 :)

[LLVMdev] Using C++'11 language features in LLVM itself
Hello all,
Using the Apache Wiki [1] I summed up what can be used simultaneously by gcc,
MSVC and clang.
I mostly considered only the latest versions of the proposals where there were
several, where not there is a link to a note at the bottom. Furthermore I did
not scourge through 3 bug databases and I implicitly trusted the wiki page.
I drew up a list of profiles, listing the base

Regression slope confidence interval
Hi list,
is there any direct way to obtain confidence intervals for the regression
slope from lm, predict.lm or the like?
(If not, is there any reason? This is also missing in some other statistics
softwares, and I thought this would be quite a standard application.)
I know that it's easy to implement but it's for
explanation to people who faint if they have to do their own
programming...

uidNumber=RID allowed or not recommended?
Hi,
the samba documentation concerning the migration of a Samba NT4 domain
to AD
(https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Migrating_a_Samba_NT4_Domain_to_Samba_AD_(Classic_Upgrade))
mentions in section "Important Notes":
It used to be thought that using Windows RIDs for Unix IDs was
acceptable, time has proven otherwise.
But unfortunately no reasoning is given. I am wondering why this is not
