MS SQL with Linux through Samba
Hello there,
I would like to implement an LVS in my organization. The topology is as follows:
(i) On the highest level, there is a storage (possibly RAID5) which will store all my databases of images and important information. (LINUX)
(ii) Under it, I will want to have a load-balancer and 2 servers (one as FOS) to handle the clients' requests. (LINUX)
(iii) Below the 2 servers, I have to

Query: SELECT "INBOX" permission denied
Yesterday I was forced to migrate servers due to a hardware failure. I
have been able to bring up my mail server, and set up Squirrelmail and
Dovecot. I am able to access (via Squirrelmail) all users' mail except
one - which happens to be my wife's, so it would be really helpful if I
could get that working too. I am able to log in, but see the following

Transparent proxy with LVS
I've managed to configure a LVS Cluster to act as a transparent proxy
squid farm, with a virtual server as load balancer, and three real
servers. Because redirecting packets going to port 80 to port 3128 of
squid in the load balancer doesn't works, the solution has a mix of ip
route and iptables.
Here is the script I wrote to configure transparent proxy.
#!/bin/bash

I got the solution for my problem, and thought may at someday somebody
could use it. Julian Anastasov and some people from the LVS mailing list
helped me with it.

SpeexEncoder requires 320 samples to process a Frame, not 160
Hi guys
I have tried compiling this attached code, I made all the buffers 320, there is no trace of a 160 buffer, but I get a "
SpeexEncoder requires 320 samples to process a Frame, not 160" error.
Maybe there's something I'm missing, here's my code:
import java.io.IOException;
import java.io.FileOutputStream;

Dovecot, LVS and the issues I have with it.
We run around 5 dovecot (debian etch 1.0.rc15) POP/IMAP 'nodes' using
the LVS load balancer and an NFS based SAN. it works pretty well. I love
the robustness of load balancing POP/IMAP. We do a reasonable amount of
throughput through these especially at peak times pushing our SAN to
around 1.5k IOP/s
We currently have two issues with this setup. One of which is NFS index
corruption

Setting up Ruby for use with MS SQL 2008
Hello there!
I am pretty close to being able to develop in rails, but I keep
running into a problem with my setup in connecting to my MS SQL
database. When I try to navigate to my control page, I get the "..but
something went wrong" page. In the dev log I get the following error:
Unable to load driver ''ADO'' (underlying error: uninitialized
constant DBI::DBD::ADO)

number of analogs in significance test of MAT reconstructions using randomTF from palaeoSig
I'm trying to use the randomTF function from package palaeoSig to
test the significance of a MAT reconstruction with nine analogs and a
WA-PLS reconstruction with four components. I'm probably missing
something obvious here but how do I make sure that randomTF is testing
the reconstruction based on the desired number of analogs / components?

CentOS4.3 - x86_64 - lockups

I have a box that is a Linux LVS project based load balancer running on
an 1850 and x86_64 bit version of CentOS. In the past i have never had

This box will after a variable about of time, 1 day upto a week or so,
stop accepting ssh connections, although http connections will be fine,
and then after another period of

Shorewall and LVS-NAT (via fwmark) nat'd machines can't access the outside world directly
Hi guys,
I''m not sure where to post for help on this one, shorewall or lvs, I''ll
start with shorewall (only cause Tom is a gun at this stuff, and is polite
enough to tell me to bugger off to the LVS list if I''m posting in the wrong
one ;)
I have a single box that is my router/firewall/LVS.

Hi all,
Sorry for bothering you in this dev mailing list, I'm using libguestfs to
customize some vm using as bases the ubuntu cloud images.
But I noticed that it takes a lot and then fails when trying to install a
packet.
Same behaviour on Ubuntu 18.04 and Centos 7.5
Ubuntu:
virt-customize 1.36.13
libvirtd (libvirt) 4.0.0
Centos:
virt-customize 1.36.10rhel=7,release=6.el7_5.2,libvirt

SO_SNDBUFF & SO_RCVBUFF - Here are some practical recommendations
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Your mileage may vary, however I have found this to be a very reliable method of determining the optimal "socket options" values for SO_SNDBUFF and SO_RCVBUFF.
1. Adjust your smb.conf to reflect:
socket options = SO_SNDBUFF=4096 SO_RCVBUFF=4096 TCP_NODELAY IPTOS_LOWDELAY
2. Kill your smb/nmb processes, and restart samba.
3. From a workstation,

Me da error al hacerlo. Mi variable donde quiero que localice las palabras
de la lista tiene más de una palabra, no se si puede ser por eso.
Gracias
