Disallow POP3 from deleting messages
I'd like to use Dovecot as our IMAP server when our users are within our LAN, but I'd also like to give them the ability to access their emails via POP3 when they are outside the LAN. I know most POP3 clients will give their users the option of not deleting the messages from the server after they are downloaded, but is there any way to restrict them from being able to do so at the server

Help with Bootstrap function.
Dear List I am using R with mcgv package to model spatial variation in density estimates of dorcas gazelle in Sinai. I have 59 points of data and 4 explanatory variables(distance from mountain edge, camel presence, Latitude & Longitude). I want to test the model fir via bootstraping. I have used the jacknife bootstraping but it have the limitation of allowing only 58 trials. I tried to use the

manpages in mdoc(7)
Dear authors of Vorbis, currently, the manpages that come with vorbistools are written in the traditional man(7) markup language. I am proposing to rewrite them into the semantic markup of the mdoc(7) language. I am willing to do the work. Both the man(7) and mdoc(7) languages have been around for decades, and are supported by the prevalent formatters: groff(1) on most Linuxes and mandoc(1) on

Manhattan Plot
To whom it may concern: My name is Jillian Weinfeld. I am currently and undergraduate student at New York University and working at Mount Sinai School of Medicine doing research with epilepsy patients. At the moment I am creating a manhattan plot with my data set. After reading many forums and such, I have appropriately plotted my data, however, I wanted to see how I can change the colors of the

[PATCH] configure.ac: Add mandoc as valid formatter
Hi, On systems that have mandoc installed but are missing an nroff binary, the configure script will fall back to pre-formatted manual pages despite the fact that mandoc could be used. The proposed patch adds mandoc as a valid formatter to configure.ac. As mandoc supports the -mdoc flag, it can simply be added to the list of nroff-like binaries. select subrows based on a specific column in a matrix
Hi all, I have a matrix with 10000 rows and 10 columns. The last columns contains another identifiers but the values are not uniques so that I want to generate another matrix with rows with unique values in the last column. If I did tmp<-unique(my_mat$col10) this will give me 8560 unique entries so the ideal matrix will be 8560X10 columns now then. I tried sub_mat<-my_mat[tmp,] but

Man pages
I've noticed that the man pages provided in the tarball do not work on Solaris - the output is not formatted as expected. On a linux box it is possible to view the man pages using nroff -mdoc ./sshd.8, where prepended file is /usr/lib/groff/tmac/tmac.doc. There does not appear to be an equivelent macro file on Solaris 2.6. Does anybody know how I can get the man pages to display properly on

Dovecot Virtual Users with Sendmail
I'm trying to get Dovecot working with Virtual Users and Sendmail on OpenIndiana 151a7. OpenIndiana is the Open Source continuation of OpenSolaris after Oracle tried to kill it off a couple of years ago shortly after acquiring Sun Microsystems. I'm not sure if this is so much a Dovecot problem, as much of a Sendmail problem. I thought this would probably be a better list to start with,

bug?: building RPM of 2.5.1p1 uses wrong pam.d/ssh file for RH6 vs RH7
(I'm using RedHat 6.2 and openssl-0.9.5a-3) After rebuilding binary RPMs using openssh-2.5.1p1-1.src.rpm, I was unable to ssh in to a system upgraded to the new openssh-server-2.5.1p1.rpm After the failure, /var/log/messages on the destination indicated lots of PAM errors of the form "sshd[22814]: PAM [dlerror: /lib/security/pam_stack.so: can not open shared object file: No such file

My X and Y datasets are pairs. 1. I want to randomize (rearrange) only my X dataset per row ,while keeping the my Y dataset as it is. 2. Then Calculate the correlation for this pair, and compare it to your true
