can I use tos and fwmark at the same time?
Hello lartc maintainers and users! I have a router with two NICs. One NIC is connected to the Internet and the other to my internal LAN. I made a script for priorizing interactive traffic. The script matches TOS Minimize-Delay for priorizing interactive trafic, and fwmark for metropolitan packets. I have two root classes (simulating two circuits) : 1:1 for internet and 1:3 for metropolitan.

resampling issue
I am trying to get R to resample my dataset of two columns of age and length data for fish. I got it to work, but it is not resampling every replicate. Instead, it resamples my data once and then repeated it 5 times. Here is my dataset of 9 fish samples with an age and length for each one: Age Length 2 200 5 450 6 600 7 702 8 798 5 453 4 399 1 120 2 202 Here is my code which resamples my

maclist or rule question
Hi, I want to automate some of the maclist and rule functionality: User connects to the network and gets a DHCP address from the shorewall box. Using squid and redirection, all the user can do is go to a login page on the firewall User logs in correctly to the form on the webpage and a process captures MAC and IP address info from the dhcpd.leases file Once authenticated, a maclist entry and an

no progress indication
I am integrating a new server (Asterisk 1.8.2.3, DAHDI 2.4.0) with VOIP only trunks, and this server only has soft phones. When I dial an extension and the phone is not registered, I don't get any ring or progress indications, and eventually the Dial() times out and drops into voicemail (as expected). CLI output: -- Executing [s at macro-StdExten:6] Dial("IAX2/barneveld-2036",

OpenVPN, proxy ARP for an entire subnet (Linux endpoints)
"A Tale of TTL Troubles" I was hired to implement VPN for a subnet. The owner has a /27 at his home site, and he wanted to have the machines there answering BOTH on those IP addresses and some addresses at a remote colocation provider. Make sense? Not to me either. :( I think he''s trying to fool his customers into thinking he has a physical presence in the colocation city.

Re : Frequency count
Dear list, I have a dataset as follow and I would like to count the frequencies for the combination of the two variables (f1 and f2) for each id. I know it is should be straight forward, but I just don't know how to do it in R. Here is the SAS code I will use to get the output I want : proc means nway; class id f1 f2; var flag output out=temp; Dataset: id f1 f2 flag 798 1 2

Public folder subscriptions with Outlook
This is more an Outlook issue than Dovecot, but given that it is connected to Dovecot I figured there would be a good pool of knowledge here that increases the likelihood that somebody knows the answer :) I have a Dovecot server setup with a public folder and keep getting complaints that Outlook users don't see new folders created by other people. In Thunderbird it is simply a case of

adding static route via network setup fails
I want to add the following route command route add -net 192.168.2.0/27 gw 192.168.2.3 via the normal network setup. The result should be the following routing table (the first line): 192.168.2.0/27 via 192.168.2.3 dev xenbr1 scope link 192.168.2.0/27 dev eth2 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.2.4 192.168.2.0/27 dev xenbr1 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.2.3 192.168.1.0/24 dev xenbr0

Issue with ip aliases and routing
I need to get this working. I have a single interface eth0 with a primary adress of x.x.214.162 on a /30 block network. This interface is properly set up and works fine, however, I also have five aliased adresses on the same interface: eth0:1 @ x.x.6.230, eth0:2 @ x.x.6.235, eth0:3 @ x.x.6.240, eth0:4 @ x.x.6.245, and eth0:5 @ x.x.6.250. All of these adresses are on a /27 block network. After

Domain unavaliable
First off, I'd like to give all the people involved with the development of Samba a big thanks. I'd have to say that Samba is probably the single most important piece of software that we run in our research lab. I'd also like to say that I have had so few problems that I probably haven't written about one in 3 years. With that being said, I'm having problems with my Samba

problems joining domain with smbpasswd
Hello, I am trying to do join my debian 3.0 linux box with samba v2.2.3a to my windows 2000 domain. I was trying to follow the directions at http://us1.samba.org/samba/docs/Samba-HOWTO-Collection.html#AEN401. I have created the computer account in the active directory. What I think is weird is that smbpasswd is saying it is trying to connect to port 445? The dc I am connecting to has all the

BAD SIG[nature] errors from XP client
Greetings, I've set up a Samba 3.0.23a PDC on Fedora Core 5 and joined a couple XP clients to the domain successfully. However, when I start using the Samba PDC's "homes" share from the XP client, I eventually get errors such as the following: [2006/08/05 03:28:07, 0] libsmb/smb_signing.c:srv_check_incoming_message(657) srv_check_incoming_message: BAD SIG: seq 798 wanted

ocfs2 cluster becomes unresponsive
We are running OCFS2 on SLES9 machines using a FC SAN. Without warning both nodes will become unresponsive. Can not access either machine via ssh or terminal (hangs after typing in username). However the machine still responds to pings. This continues until one node is rebooted, at which time the second node resumes normal operations. I am not entirely sure that this is an OCFS2 problem at all
