I have successfully installed and am running the win32 version of firstclass 9.106 (http://www.firstclass.com/Divisions/FAV13-0024FC95/?OpenItemURL=S047C50E4) client on wine 1.0.1 (lenny amd64). My problem occurs when the client attempts to open an html attachment:

Voicemail IMAP
I know some of this doesn't belong on this list, but I am just
including it for problem history.
I am trying to setup IMAP Voicemail with our email server.
We are using a non-standards based groupware server called FirstClass.
The server has some built in support for IMAP.
My problem seems to be that the authuser flag is not supported.
When I use mtest in the imap toolkit to connect to

I'm trying to the FirstClass 6.011 conferencing system with Wine
20020804 - it will display the initial welcome screen and then the
logging in window. However, it then terminates with the error messages
below...
Any ideas?!?
Thanks,

asterisk & 3rd party vm
we are considering replacing our PBX w Asterisk but want to keep our
voicemail, FirstClass Unified Messaging. I can't find docs on configuring
Asterisk w 3rd party voicemail. Can do?
(we're considering this because we're moving to a space that is not wired
for voice or network & I'm fantasizing we can do both IP & VoIP w Wi-Fi...)

Re: unusual text/mour/menu behaviours
hello,
As suggested, I have removed the POL installation and installed WINE 1.3.28 on an Ubuntu 11.10 installation.
I continue to experience difficulties with how windows are rendered in WINE for the FirstClass mail application.
The application runs well except for a few very annoying things:
- when a window first opens, it doesn't interact with the mouse properly:

The FC client (8.005US.exe), installs ok.
When installing fcpers80231.exe, I get info that

license agreement.
I have to kill wineserver to be able to continue work.

Apologies - possible hardware problem?
Good afternoon,
I have a home workstation with an AMD CPU, Titan V GPU, 32 GB of memory,
and a root SSD and /home on spinning disks.
Right now it has xubuntu 18.04 on it and it would boot fine. I shut it down
and restarted it to get an inventory before I put CentOS 8.2 on it. It
won't boot now. It gets to the grub menu and freezes. I can't use the
keyboard to select an item in the menu

CentOS7 KDE - post-boot splash screen
Hello List Members,
I decided to install C7 KDE on a workstation for a friend of mine. Works
great, but the post-boot KDE splash screen (light blue and has 3 or more up
^ arrows that move from the lower center upwards) is a bit of a frustration
for that person. I've determined that one can press the Escape key and move
from that bluish splash to the login screen. (And at one point rolling the

[LLVMdev] Inreg firstclass structs
Hi all,
I've been discussing parameter attributes and their impact on first-class
struct parameters. Duncan and I came to the conclusion that the only attribute
that could be applied to structs currently, is the inreg attribute. However,
since there is no support anywhere for that currently (transformation passes
and backends?), it might be better to disallow the inreg attribute for struct

bootsplash: splash=silent always boots as splash=verbose
Hi there,
I am trying to migrate from using syslinux with the gfxboot patch to using vesamenu.c32 which is a much simpler solution for my needs. The only problem I am having is that when I attempt to use the "splash=silent" kernel parameter it always boots as though I had entered "splash=verbose". By which I mean that the vga mode is correct, and the verbose graphics are

OS X - `require': no such file to load -- sqlite3/sqlite3_native
I''ve searched and search, tried a number of things like unstalling
sqlite3 and reinstalling. Reinstalling Rails, building sqlite3 from
source, etc. Nothing seems to work. When I try to start up my server I

FXSplashWindow
I saw Jeroen''s suggestion on how to use FXSplashWindow on the
foxgui-users list and thought I''d try it.
My attempt was as follows:

include Fox

icon = nil
File.open(''icon.gif'', ''rb'') { |f|
icon = FXGIFIcon.new(app, f.read)
}

Changing isolinux/splash.jpg on custom ISO
Hi all,
I know I've done this in the past, but I can't seem to get it working
today...
I want to roll my own ISO and use custom splash.jpg. If I roll the
ISO with the stock splash.jpg, it works. When I save my own 800x600 .jpg
as splash.jpg though, I get a black screen. I made sure the permissions
and ownership was the same.
Is there a special way that the JPG has to be

Patch: switcher's window is a splash window
Hi,
I made a simple patch which makes switcher's window a splash window
(_NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE_SPLASH). This way I can easily add effects for it.
The window is a splash window, so why not use this type instead of
Unknown? Beryl's switcher window is a Splash window too. Is there a
reason why Compiz uses Uknown for it?

SYSLINUX bootsplash
Hello all,
Forgive me if this has been asked before, I've been googling for two
days now and the only thing that I've learned is that bootsplash is a
total black art.
I'm booting off of a USB stick and I've finally gotten a splash screen
to appear before vmlinuz and initrd load, but once they load the splash
screen scrolls off the screen. Is there any way to make it behave and
