Sonos 2.8 Install Fails/Succeeds on Unbuntu 9.04 Wine 1.1.22
I have successfully installed Sonos 2.8 using Ubuntu 9.04 and Wine 1.1.22 on my wireless Dell Inspiron laptop and an old dual boot Dell Dimension desktop. The Sonos Desktop Controller software was installed on the dual boot Unbuntu side as well as the Windows XP Pro side. Software works fine on both machines. Rise of Legends video problems
I'm running WINE 1.3.33 (on Ubuntu 10.10 64bit)
I've installed the Rise of Legends retail version and that runs fine. The game starts, gives a warning about AGP Texture Acceleration not being enabled, and then ends up with a TINY version of the game screen in the upper left corner of the screen. I can actually almost see the dialogs in the game etc, and when I tried the demo version of

the program was written on Delphi
artifact there was on Ubuntu 11.10 with wine-1.3.35-0ubuntu1~ppa1~oneiric1

[Wine v1.0] Excel won't save files, claims the disk is full
I recently installed Excel 2003 in Wine 1.0, it works well, but I can't save anything as Excel claims the disk is full. I even tried to run it as root, but that didn't work out too well. The messages are "The disk is full" followed by "Document not saved"
I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 and I have the following DLL overrides installed in Wine:

Switched distros, now my applications don't work.
Hello,
I had previously installed an MMORPG (Champions Online) and Internet Explorer 8 on Ubuntu 11.04 using Wine 1.2 and they both worked fine. When I upgraded to 11.10 I lost sound in the game and when I checked it had been upgraded to 1.3, so I switched back to 1.2 and the problem was resolved.

Running text app without X

Question about linear regression in R
Hi all,
I wrote a r program as below:
x <- 1:10
y <- c(3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3)
fit <- lm(log(y) ~ x)
summary(fit)
And I expect to get some error message from R, because "y" is constant.
But, I got the message as below:

Puzzled at lm() and time-series
I tried toy problems and there doesn't seem to be a basic problem
between lm() and ts objects:
X = data.frame(x=c(1,2,7,9), y=c(7,2,3,1))
lm(y ~ x, X)
X <- lapply(X, function(x) ts(x, frequency=12, start=c(1994,7)))
lm(y ~ x, X)
and this works fine - whether you do an lm() before or after making ts
objects, it's okay.
But I have a situation where things aren't okay.

Errors when running wine on Intel Mac OS X v10.4.8
