Sid Meier's Pirates! crashes consistently - Part II
I'm running the latest version of Wine (currently 1.1.28 ) on Xubuntu 9.04 and I kept getting the error "The program Pirates!.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." It was occurring regularly a short time after I started playing. Some helpful folks posted suggestions to help get it working reliably, but nothing made a

Can't verify gpg signature for the file with hashes for the CentOS 7
Hello there. I've just downloaded the CentOS v7.0 via torrent and am
trying to verify the gpg signature for the file with hashes. When I do
"gpg --verify sha256sum.txt.asc" I get the key ID of F4A80EB5. Then I'm
trying to get the public key with "gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys
F4A80EB5" command. The gpg returns error of "no valid OpenPGP data

[Euro LLVM] Unofficial beer before the conference
Hi,
I've heard some people are in Saarbrucken and would like to go for a dinner
together.
I've found some places that should be good for groups:

Fwd: Isolinux 5.01 and higher not working on various Dell desktops
I recently tried using the latest GParted Live iso (0.16.2-11 i686
PAE) on a few circa-2004 Dell desktops (e.g. Dimension 8400, Precision
370, OptiPlex 170L, all with latest BIOS). However nothing would
appear onscreen after selecting cdrom boot. I managed to modify the
iso and use isolinux-debug.bin, and the output I always received was:

We are pleased to announce the first LLVM Cauldron, to be held on Thursday
September 8th 2016 in Hebden Bridge, UK. This is the day before the GNU Tools
Cauldron being held at the same venue, so we hope to take advantage of the high
concentration of compiler enthusiasts and to encourage lots of
cross-pollination between communities.
This will be a one-day conference with a single talks track and
