polarcypto and tsi libraries, needed in Wine
Doe anyone know where I can get PolarCrypto.dll and TSI.dll libraries from so that I can load them through Wine on my Mac. I was lucky enough to get other libraries that I was missing from Winetricks but still need these last two. I get error messages that they are needed when I try to load TroopMaster 2010 application through Wine on a Mac. Thanks

CD Baby using FLAC to archive 40,000 CDs
As for the storage, I recommend something like AFS, that's distributed and network-transparent. AFS/Kerberos has a tendency to take over the network for use as an authentication protocol, but it's both possible to use AFS/Krb in a hetereogenous environment and a good idea to switch to Krb5 :). OpenAFS is quite a good product, I am finding. A few general notes: Isn't cdparanoia more

page fault using compiled wine, but not packaged version
Ubuntu 11.10 (64-bit) wine 1.3.35 I'm trying to build wine so I can track down a bug. (Bug 8997 - Troopmaster freezing). The problem I have is when download the source and build it, I get a page fault when I try to run Troopmaster.exe using wine. If I use the wine installed from the Ubuntu repositories (same version) I don't get the page fault. Why don't I get the same result

rsync time machine backup permissions
What is the order that rsync uses to set permissions? Time Machine directories have ACL permissions that basically prohibit making any changes of any kind. In order to make a backup of the directory, you would need to set those permissions after copying everything in the subdirectories. Is rsync smart enough to do it in that order? [LLVMdev] llvm-gcc 4.2 in Xcode
Yes, I know. It's just when I see "happy", "Apple" and "iPhone SDK" on an Apple employee's mouth here, I felt a strong urge on the spur of moment to express my discontent towards Apple people who think they should make us buy their iMac just to be able to code freeware applications on iPhone. I've been waiting for so long time until an official SDK is

Quick Question: How to run Winetricks?
All right, I've downloaded Wine and Wine Bottler, created an app with my program, put in the confirmation code for -that-, jumped through a few more hoops because Sony apparently now requires a 20-some character code for confirmation as well as the original key, ran it, and got the usual error message: [Image: http://img814.imageshack.us/img814/8784/screenshot20110512at254.png ] Read the
