similar to: Wine and Quicken

I installed QCharts on my wine app on Mandriva. Qcharts has run fine in the past when using Ubuntu. Qcharts installed but when attempting to execute the program, the wine glass begins going around in circles for about 30 seconds, Qcharts does not open and the wine glass disappears. Is this a permission problem with Mandriva or something else. Thanks.

Hello wine people, this is my first posting here. I am using the gimp printing ppd,cups and lpr on a hpdj842c. Wine release 20011226. On Debian woody with 2.4.17. Everything rocks so far except whenever i try to print wine freaks out and dies. Crossover is using Wine release 20010629. I have tried printing in linux and it works fine. I also have crossover installed (I actually paid for it).

I know this has come up quite a few times. Its that same r6034 error except I have vcrun2005 and when I try to install vcrun2008 with winetricks I get....The same error! So I can't upgrade because of the error and a loooot of my programs wont work because of it now. Is there a previous version I need first and have to install them in order?

After 1 day of work i finally got NWN2 working. The game starts, and everything seems to work. (even the Securom copyright protection). But in the game I have a big problem: the FPS are around 0.5. :( I have tried some things, but I'm am not experienced enough with wine, to fix this issue. I just installed Quicken 2001 using the 0914 version of Wine built from source code on my Fedora Core 2 machine. I followed the Quicken install instruction #2 on Franks Corner site. The installation went fine and everything seems to work well. But some of the fonts are unreadable. Here is a screen shot of what I am referring to (the problem fonts are circled):
