How can I stop the eject of the DVD after install?
I have created my own install DVD with a custom kickstart file and modified the isolinux.cfg file to allow the system to boot off of the hard disk as the default mode. It will also use my kickstart file if I select it. Now I would like to make the system not eject the DVD after reboot. The machines I am installing on do not have a motorized tray that can automatically pull the DVD back in when a

[PATCH 0/3] libxl cd-insert/eject with qemu-xen
This patch series provides the facility to eject and insert a cdrom when the used device-model is qemu-xen. The only difference between both device-model is a call to a QMP command as `xl cd-insert ...` will still update xenstore, even if it''s not used by QEMU. Anthony PERARD (3): libxl_qmp, Introduce libxl__qmp_insert_cdrom. libxl_dm: Set an id to cdrom drives with qemuu. libxl:

Insert/eject USB
Is it possible to insert and eject a USB image in kvm/qemu/libvirt or are the only dynamically changeable devices cdroms and floppies? I've searched the web and I'm either not looking for the right terms or it's obscure. I should mention that I'm not talking about a connecting a physical host USB drive to a guest image, I want to be able to use a qcow image as the source.

Suppressing Form Feeds
Try adding the 'sf' option to the printer definition in /etc/printcap. The 'sf' stands for 'suppress form feeds'. If this doesn't work, let me know and I'll send you a copy of my printer definition, since I had the same problem and was able to fix it with one of the options. -- Derek Pizzagoni I.T. I am new to Wine and having a problem loading the second CD when installing software. I am installing Finale 2008 (music software) which comes with a library of sampled instruments that install from the first, second, and third CD. The main Finale install goes without a hitch and I have tested it a little and it seems to work. However when installing the Garritan Instruments, it ejects the

I'm trying to format a 16 GB SD card to FAT32. Either it won't find the device or it gives me the titular error message. mkfs.fat /dev/sdc I have tried "ejecting" the drive and reinserting the card. I have tried inserting another card, checking to insure that I could see its file, ejecting that card and inserting the target card. If I do not umount it, busy, if I don't, not

Wine eject doesn't eject.
Latest wine, ubuntu 9.04 I'm trying to install Tron 2.0, but, when it asks for the second CD, wine eject fails. It takes the command, but doesn't seem to actually do anything. Outside of the installer, though, wine eject does work. I've tried launching the installer all of the different ways listed in the FAQ also; all wouldn't work. Is there some fix for this, or a way to do it

Problem opening CD/DVD Drive door
Since moving from FC2 to CentOS 4.x I've been having a strange problem opening the CD/DVD drive door after burning backups. A cron job tars and gzips directories I want to back up and stores the .tar.gz file in my /misc directory. I then burn the file onto a blank CD. All goes well with the burn...the drive door opens upon completion. The problem occurs when I re-insert the CD to test
