Hi list,
I had setup my xen box with bond in active-backup mode.
I had install open-iscsi as initiator to attach an external iscsi san
to my box but open-iscsi didn''t work.
When i run this command:
#iscsiadm -m node -T iqn.2008-03.local.foo:iSCSI.test.disk1 -l
I retrive, after some seconds, this error

iSCSI offload with Broadcom NetXtreme II BCM5709.
Hello all.
We recently purchased HP Proliant DL380 G7 server and also a HP Lefthand
P4500 G2 24TB iSCSI box.
The server itself has Quad Ethernet based on the BCM5709 Chipset from
Broadcom (NetXtreme II).
My main question is about iSCSI offload mechanism, as iSCSI itself is
pretty new to me
but I have gotten a good hold on it tho.
I have managed to setup and configured our Lefthand box into

xen, iscsi and resilience to short network outages
Hi. Here is the short version:
If dom0 experiences a short (< 120 second) network outage the guests
whose disks are on iSCSI LUNs get (seemingly) unrecoverable IO errors.
Is it possible to make Xen more resiliant to such problems?
And now the full version:
We''re testing Xen on iSCSI LUNs. The hardware/software configuration is:

iscsi connection drop, comes back in seconds, then deadlock in cluster
Greetings ocfs2 folks,
A client is experiencing some random deadlock issues within a cluster,
wondering if anyone can point us in the right direction. The iSCSI
connection seemed to have dropped on one node briefly, ultimately
several hours later landing us in a complete deadlock scenario where
multiple nodes (Node 7 and Node 8) had to be panic'd (by hand - they
didn't ever panic on

[PATCH node] iscsi remote root basework This lays most of the groundwork for iscsi installation and configuration. At this time configuring iscsi is disabled due to multiple issues with dependent pieces.
- dracut does not currently support booting a dmsquash file system on an iscsiroot
- can not be configured in standalone mode since networking is not up, although works fine if ovirt-config-setup is run once booted.

iscsi multipath fails
Hi all,
I have a Dell server running cent 5.6, new install, connecting to an IBM
DS3500. I have configured iscsi connections using iscsid and can log into
the targets on the IBM. I can also mount the LUNs when accessing them from
their active controller path. When I throw multipath into the mix, it fails
completely. Multipath is working, when I run multipath -ll it shows me the

Xen domU''s and iscsi initaitor problems.
Hello, I have been using Xen now for several months and have been
quite successful until attempting to utilize iscsi within my domU''s.
My research has turned up many posts of people using iscsi with no
problems, and I have found no others with the problem I seem to be
experiencing. If this has been covered on this list in the past,
please accept my humble apologies.

addition to my last post:
http://groups.google.com/group/llvm-dev/browse_thread/thread/afd85c3f303ec2a9
i know that using static on my globals will remove them - no other
compilation unit can then extern the vars
but my question is - in this closed szenario clang is "directly"
producing the exe - isn't clang aware of that the vars are not in use?
btw: the microsoft compiler
