Chan_bluetooth and AudioGateway phone [long]
Hello,
I start trying to use a USB dongle and a Bluetooth GSM phone to make GSM
call with asterisk using the BLT channel provided by the GSM phone.
Unfortunately I get a "Everyone is busy/congested at this time" whenever
I try to Dial("IAX2/****@****/2", "BLT/MotorolaLara/3474501***")
For sure I make some mistake in the configuration. Unfortunately I don't

AIX openssh patches
I have a few patches for AIX. The patchfile is attached below. The patch
has been tested on AIX4.2 and AIX4.3. The patch is on openssh-1.2.1pre25,
with openssl-0.94, using RSAref.
1) authenticate support - this function allows the system to determine
authentification. Whatever the system allows for login, authenticate
will too. It doesn't matter whether it is AFS, DFS, SecureID, local.

openssh-2.1.0 and AFS
Hi!
I've noticed that openssh always does a do_setpag() if compiled with
AFS-support no matter which authentication method is used.
Maybe I'm missing something but shouldn't it only get a pag, if
AFS-token-passing is used?
If password authentication is used, an AFS-pam-module (or the authenticate
function on AIX) will do the job, otherwise, no token can be
obtained and therefore no

patch for TIS (skey/opie) *and* passwd auth via PAM
Hello,
appended is a patch that makes it possible to use PAM both for
password authentication and TIS (i.e. s/key or opie or any other
interactive challenge/response scheme). I have developed this starting
from the patch at http://www.debian.org/Bugs/db/61/61906.html on
Debian with openssh-2.1.1p4-3. After configuring ssh with
--with-pam-tis, there are two PAM services, "sshd" and

OS/390 openssh
Hello Steve, Hello OpenSSH-portable developers,
I am building OpenSSH for our (EBCDIC-based) BS2000 mainframe
operating system, and I noticed you do the same for OS/390.
Because my initial ssh port was based on IBM's OSS port (ssh-1.2.2
or some such), I thought it was fair enough to help with a little
co-operation; we might come up with a unified EBCDIC patch which could
be contributed to

disable features
this (uncomplete) patch makes various features compile time
options and saves up to 24K in the resulting
ssh/sshd binaries. i don't know whether this
should be added to the CVS since it makes
the code less readable.
perhaps WITH_COMPRESSION should be added, since
it removes the dependency on libz

AFS and tokenforwarding
For some reasons the afs tokenforwarding stuff has changed
siginificantly from v 2.9p2 to 2.9.9p2.
This makes it impossible to use public key authenticication in a
standart AFS environment.
I don't know the reasons for these changes.
In any case attached is a patch which restores the old behaviour.

Hello all.
Does anyone know how to get bluetooth working on CentOS 5?
I can't pair any device. Things work perfectly on CentOS 4. Here is what
happens:

Starting Bluetooth services: [ OK ]
[root at miho ~]# hcitool scan

Linux in-kernel keys support
Hi all,
I recently made a patch to openssh 4.1p1 to allow it to use the
in-kernel key management provided by 2.6.12 or later Linux kernels.
I've attached the patch (which is still only a proof-of-concept, for
instance its very verbose right now) to this mail.
Now, my question is, is this a completely insane idea and would (a later
version of) the patch have a chance of making it into the

Errors on Windows with grep(fixed=TRUE) on UTF-8 strings
After a bit more investigation, I think I've found the cause of the bug,
and I have a patch.
This bug happens with grep(), when:
* Running on Windows.
* The search uses fixed=TRUE.
* The search pattern is a single byte.
* The current locale has a multibyte encoding.

Here's an example that demonstrates the bug:

[PATCH] tis authserv support
Hi,
We at BalaBit IT Security Ltd developed a patch against openssh 2.3.0p1 to
support TIS authserv authentication. TIS authserv uses a simple protocol,
and supports CryptoCard, SKey, password etc. authentication.
The commercial versions of SSH support this protocol, OpenSSH implemented
SKey on its own using the protocol primitives originally invented for TIS
authentication.
Our patch is an

interacts with the telnet/rlogin server on AIX. The previous entries
about this only starting at ML03 and above seem to be correct. The bug
is not triggered in earlier versions of AIX.
Unfortunately, I have been unable to create a test case program that
causes the hang to occur. However, a simple hack to channels.c does
seem to fix the problem:

[PATCH] chain.c: allocation fixes
1) At the end of main, there's attempt to free cur_part->record, which
rarely comes from malloc. Only valid case is if gpt handover was performed
and chaining was not successful (cur_part->record is overwritten with gpt
specifc handover record). Freeing the handover area has been adjusted.
2) If our current iterator is ebr, parent wouldn't be freed at the end of
main. Added generic

interesting problem update
The problem I was experiencing is still occurring, and it is getting
worse. There are several names that Festival "gets stuck on". I don't
know if it is a Festival problem or an Asterisk problem. The scenario, a
call comes in goes through the dialplan (shown below in original message),
and either reads the value ${FULLNAME}, but then hangs. It doesn't go to
the next command
