Hello, My health care organization is looking for a way to do appointment reminders. We currently have staff members who spend part of each day manually calling patients to remind them of their upcoming appointments, and we would like to automate this process. Our electronic health record software would provide such information as the patient's name, phone number, and day and time of

[LLVMdev] [IMPORTANT] Mailing list Move & Downtime (Tuesday, August 4th)
On August 4th (~9AM PDT, exact time TBD), all LLVM related mailing lists will move to a new mailing list server and will change to listname at lists.llvm.org. LLVMDev will probably change to LLVM-Dev to preserve consistency. This means a couple of things: 1) All mailing lists will be down on August 4th. We anticipated at least the full day of downtime (hopefully less if things go well). 2) SVN

pager reminder script
Since the list community has done so much for me in my humble asterisk beginnings I have put together a simple little script written in php that serves as a paging reminder script. If anyone is interested in a copy of it contact me off list and I'll forward you a copy. The basics of the script are as follows: It queries an asterisk inbox of your choosing for the existence of a file that

feature request/reminder - alias / bootsector
HPA, a longterm reminder. See below. Can you also make a LABEL ignore other labels if no KERNEL statement is found in between? That way you could define multiple aliasses for an entry. label foo label bar label memtest kernel memtestp foo ignores 'label bar' , 'label memtest' and executes 'kernel memtest' bar ignores 'label memtest' and executes 'kernel

Reminder: This list is freebsd-security@FreeBSD.org, not security@FreeBSD.org
Hello Just a little reminder that the FreeBSD Security list only has the address freebsd-security@FreeBSD.org, and not security@FreeBSD.org. The address security@FreeBSD.org is for the FreeBSD Security Team. If anyone is interested in the reason for this, see this thread from last year: http://docs.freebsd.org/cgi/mid.cgi?20040407154220.GA5651 . -- Simon L. Nielsen FreeBSD Security Team

CentOS mailing list probe message (fwd)
With the latest message I send to the CentOS list I got this strange 'probe' message. The included bounce example has nothing to do with my email-adres, but rather with someone subscribed to the list. So it seems that somehow the mailinglist manager is sending bounces to the wrong email-adres. Or I do not understand the 'probe' message (and the included bounce message) at all.

remote password change, if password is expired
Hi, we have a couple of users which "forget" to change the passwords even if they get an reminder. Normally we tell them to use a windows machine, where you can change your password if it's expired. But how can a remote user change his password if it's expired ? Is there any secure solution for thisĀ  ? -- Bye, Peer
