Vectorizing a function that needs to access previous elements of a row
Hi, I'm a newbie when it comes to R, and I'm trying to figure out how to use vectorization as opposed to for loops. In particular, how can I create a function that is applied on each element of a row, but can access previous elements relative to that element? My problem: I want to calculate something like x[i] = x[i] / x[i - 1] for each element of a vector x: ex. x <- data.frame(a

I am using Element.removeClassName(element, "classname to remove"); to achieve this. This call does remove

Extracting last time value
I have a dataframe as follows: Date time value 20110620 11:18:00 7 20110620 11:39:00 9 20110621 11:41:00 8 20110621 11:40:00 6 20110622 14:05:00 8 20110622 14:06:00 6 For every date, I want to extract the row that has the greatest time. Sipura SPA2000 & Asterisk & latest firmware (1.0.18)
All, If you currently own a Sipura SPA2000, avoid going to the sipura website and upgrading the firmware. I upgraded my SPA2k a couple of days ago from 1.0.9 (what it came with) to 1.0.18 off the site, and I am having issues with my SPA rebooting itself every 3-10 minutes for no apparent reason. I have been in touch with the *excellent* sipura support folks, and they are working with me to

Doubt about replacing alt storage disks
Hello, I have a working setup of dovecot 2.2.19 on centos 6. The mailbox format is mdbox. I've configured primary and alt storage. Now I want to replace the disk of the alt storage only. Broadly my plan to change it is as follows : 1. Mount the new disk on a temporary server. 2. Rsync data only from alt storage to the new disk - while the original server is live. This may take a few days.

Query about creating time sequences
Hi All, I have a query about time based sequences. I know such questions have been asked a lot on forums, but I couldnt find the exact thing that I was looking for. I want to create a time-based sequence which will mimic the trading window AND would span multiple days. Something like below: "2011-01-03 09:15:00 IST" "2011-01-03 09:15:01 IST" .... .... .... "2011-01-03
