Play a number of files to a caller
I want to be able to allow a caller to dial a ddi, system to verify identity etc (this is all done) I then want them to sit listening to music, until an event happens. When this (external) event happens, I want to play a certain file to the caller, using playback (so that they have ff / rw etc), and when finished, go back to the music. 1) I thought of redirecting to an extension that played the

NVidia component out
I realize this is getting a bit outside myth...but hopefully someone can offer some ideas... I'm using the latest NVIDIA drivers on Fedora 12, with Nvidia 8600GT. Although the dual DVI outputs work great, the driver just won't detect anything connected to the component video connector. Is anyone out there successfully using the component video out on their Nvidia card with a recent

SMT solvers in clang SA
Hi all, Currently studying the impact of SMT solvers on Clang SA. Can anyone help in telling more about the SMT solvers use in clang SA ? ( Have already tested Z3 SMT solver implemented in GSoC 2018 , also looking for other SMT solvers if possible ) Thanks, Siddharth -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... [cfe-dev] SMT solvers in clang SA
We are currently implementing the backends for other solvers (you can follow the progress here: https://github.com/mikhailramalho/clang). So far we got Boolector, MathSAT and Yices ready. CVC4 should be done soon. When used to refute bugs, they all give roughly the same results: a ~5% speedup if there are refuted bugs or a ~5% slowdown if no bug is refuted. I've only tried to analyze one

New APC "SMT" UPSes support MODBUS, will there be support in NUT?
Hi All, About a month ago APC announced they were including MODBUS protocol support in their new APC UPSes. The technical note on this is here: http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/MPAO-98KJ7F/MPAO-98KJ7F_R0_EN.pdf "Application Note #176 Modbus Implementation in APC Smart-UPS" The APC "announcement" appeared on their site in their user blogs by an APC employee, here:

[GSoC 2018] Integrate with Z3 SMT solver to reduce false positives.
Hi all, I am a fourth year EE bachelors student who is very interested in compilers. I have taken the only compilers course offered in my school and did an independent study with my CS professor. Although I'll begin to work in a couple of months, I definitely want to pursue my interest in compiler design and optimization as a PhD in the future. I am very interested in the z3 SMT solver

deSolve: Problem solving ODE including modulo-operator
I have a problem integrating the 'standard map' ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_map http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_map ) with deSolve: By using the modulo-operator '%%' with 2*pi in the ODEs (standardmap1), the resulting values of P and Theta, should not be greater than 2pi. Because this was not the case, i was thinking that the function 'ode' has some

epidemiology ode likelihood, hierarchical model
Hi all, I study epidemiology of soilborne disease. I have this ode model dS/dt = - (rp(t) X + rs(t) I) * S with X=1 ; rp(t) = ap exp( - bp*t) ; rs(t) = as exp (-0.5 ( ln (t/ds) / bs)? ) The data I have are not directly the infected individuals (which is a hidden state) but the Diseases ones (individuals who show aerial symptoms). I have studied with experiments the relationship between the

How to apply a system of ordinary differential equations to a cell grid?
It seems that the method `iteration` in the function `ode` can be useful in my case: > Method "iteration" is special in that here the function func should > return the new value of the state variables rather than the rate of > change. This can be used for individual based models, for difference > equations, or in those cases where the integration is performed within >

Solving ODEs
Hello. I'm solving ODEs in R. I need "as many methods as possible", so I downloaded the Fortran functions from http://www.netlib.org/ode/. Then I created DLLs and dyn.loaded them to R. Problem is that I don't know how to use them. I've been trying for many days and can't solve it. So I would be very glad if you could give me some link (or whatever) where I can see how to

estimating the starting value within a ODE using nls and lsoda
All- I am interested in estimating a parameter that is the starting value for an ODE model. That is, in the typical combined fitting procedure using nls and lsoda (alternatively rk4), I first defined the ODE model: minmod <- function(t, y, parms) { G <- y[1] X <- y[2] with(as.list(parms),{ I_t <- approx(time, I.input, t)$y dG <- -1*(p1 + X)*G +p1*G_b dX <-

ode() tries to allocate an absurd amount of memory
Hi there R-helpers: I'm having problems with the function ode() found in the package deSolve. It seems that when my state variables are too numerous (>33000 elements), the function throws the following error: Error in vode(y, times, func, parms, ...) : cannot allocate memory block of size 137438953456.0 Gb In addition: Warning message: In vode(y, times, func, parms, ...) : NAs

new version of package deSolve on CRAN
Dear R users, an improved version of package deSolve (version 1.3) is now available on CRAN. deSolve, the successor of R package odesolve, is a package to solve initial value problems (IVP) of: - ordinary differential equations (ODE), - differential algebraic equations (DAE) and - partial differential equations (PDE). The implementation includes stiff integration routines based on the ODEPACK
