B400P and A1200P changes card order
Hi,
I've run into a veird problem. I'm using a B400P BRI and an A1200P card
with dahdi (2.2.1) driver. The dahdi_scan shows the each moduls and
spans, everything seems fine. With dahdi_genconf I made the config, set
up the channels in chan_dahdi.conf, but after reboot, the two card
changes the order, (originaly the B400P is the first (closer to the
processor) and A1200P is the

About Sangoma cards and Asterisk integration with other PBX
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Hi all!
I had the opportunity to test a Sangoma A200 card and I have some doubts
that I would like to consult:
I tried to detect the card and I had no success using the wctdm module
with DAHDI. I guess this is because electronics is different because the
TDM400P and OpenVox A400P cards have separate modules for each channel,
while the Sangoma A200

OpenVox A400P01on thin client?
Hello,
I'm thinking of ordering an OpenVox A400P01 (A400P + 1 PORT FXO Bundle)
for use in a old IBM 8364 thin client:
http://www.openvox.com.cn/products_detail.php?genre_id=9&id=28
http://silicon-verl.de/home/flo/software/netstation-8364/
Has someone already used this hardware with Asterisk, especially on a small
piece of hardware like this, and could offer some feedback?
Thank you.

A400P + Intel D201GLY2(A) motherboard?
Hello
I'd like to build myself an Asterisk server for SOHO use. Intel's
D201GLY2 motherboard (http://tinyurl.com/ddarzp) looks like a very
good deal, but I'm concerned about two things:
1. Will an A400P (from OpenVox, but supposed to be Digium-compatible
http://tinyurl.com/ck6nfu) fit with a PCI riser, or will the CPU
heatsink/fan be in the way? I downloaded the PDF from

OpenVox A400P01 not detected
Hello
Has someone used the OpenVox A400P01 (ie. a supposedly
Digium-compatible A400P board with a single FXO module
www.openvox.com.cn/products_detail.php?genre_id=9&id=28) successfully?
I've put it in an older PC with a Gigabyte GA-7ZX motherboard, then a
more recent PC with an Asrock K8NF4G-SATA2: dmesg returns nothing :-/
Is there something specific that needs to be done in either

I am upgrading Asterisk on this box. It has an OpenVox A400P PCI analog

This server has been running just fine for two years with Asterisk 1.6.1.0
I've just upgraded all the OS and installed Asterisk 1.8.4.1. On trying

Starting and installing Dahdi (2.2.0)?
Hello
Unless I overlooked it, the "Asterisk Reference Information
Version 1.6.1.6" at www.asterisk.org/docs doesn't include instruction
on how to start Dahdi when used to drive a TDP PCI card (OpenVox A400P
with a single FXO module
www.openvox.cn/products/show.php?itemid=20&lang=2).
I'd like to know...
1. How to start Dahdi manually. Is this the right way?

Problem on incoming call from Zap channel to SIP phones...
I have an Asterisk 1.2.16 server running CentOS 4.4 with a TE110P card
and an OpenVox A1200P card. Up to today everything was working
perfectly. The OpenVox card has 8 FXS and 2 FXO ports. The two faxo
ports are used for a GSM adapter and for an ATA connected to Vonage.
The problem we started noticing today was that the Vonage line will
receive a call and then cannot connect to any of the SIP

XEN 4.0.1 + pv_ops Kernel + CentOS 5.5 x86_64, is there an easier way.
Hi
As you may''ve seen from my last posts I''m struggling to get the setup on
my subject line to work without flaws.
I''ve tried compiling the Kernel from Source, I''ve also tried Fedora 14,
which has a flaky pv_ops Dom0 kernel which DOESN''T work at all, but none of
these seem to work.

Problems with setting up Zaptel
Hi all,
I've just got an OpenVox A400P card with 1 FXO and 1 FXS module and I am just trying to get it working. But no luck as of yet.
In /etc/zaptel.conf I've set the following options:
fxsks=2
fxoks=1
loadzone=se
defaultzone=se
And in /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf I've not sure what to set exactly. For example, under [trunkgroups] what to specify there?
Under [channels I set something

Asterisk sharing a line with POTS handsets: how to interoperate cleanly?
I now have an OpenVox A400P and it is working well. Thanks to Ade
Vickers for the recommendation, which I second.
However, I need to make a slow transition between a conventional
multiple-extension setup and a full VoIP network on these premises. So
at the moment the Asterisk box shares the PSTN connection with several
conventional analogue handsets.
The desired result for an incoming call is

UK CallerID -v- Wildcard W100P
At the risk of being flamed....
Has anyone had any success get the 'El cheapo' Wildcard W100P clone's
(?20 flavour) to work with UK Caller ID?
I'm not sure what the status of Asterisk 1.6 is with respect to UK
caller ID, being that we have an odd method of sending the FSK ahead of
the ring, but I'm guessing I can't be the first to ask this?
Keeping in mind that cost is

Hi all!
Days ago I bought a OpenVox A400P card with a port FXS and another FXO
that I am testing with my Asterisk installation in my house. I'm using
Asterisk 1.4.24.1 with DAHDI Linux 2.1.0.4 and DAHDI Tools 2.1.0.2 on
Debian GNU/Linux Lenny.
I was reading "The future of telephony" and this [1] document looking

Wanted: UK-specific hardware recommendations (FXO and FXS)
I have a pair of Asterisk servers which are happily routeing VoIP calls.
I want to hook one of them to the PSTN. Given that I am in the UK, what
is a reasonably easily-available device to provide an FXO interface from
a Linux box, with a minimum of faffing around with drivers? Just one
line is needed, though in theory two might eventually be useful. My
usual white-box hardware suppliers don't

Asterisk on Mini-Box M300
Hi,
Did anyone try to install Asterisk on the Mini-Box
M300 with a Versa
mini-ITX board 1GHz VIA x86 CPU?
The box looks promissing, but I am not sure if Digium
cards are compatible
with the mother board (Versa mini-ITX)
Also I am not sure if the 1GHz VIA processor can
handle a Digium 24 port
analog board, or an E1 digital board.
If anyone had tried the Mini-Box, the processor, of
the mother

[Dahdi/system.conf] "fxsks = 1" deprecated?
Hello
I was editing files manually, and noticed that if I include the
familiar "fxsks=1" in /etc/dahdi/system.conf, Dahdi fails loading:

defaultzone = fr
fxsks=1

# /etc/init.d/dahdi start
