ISDN (isdn4linux) DDI
Hello all, does anybody have experiences with DDI on ISDN BRI? I would like to order DDI with 10 or 100 numbers from telco company, and use DDI numbers for direct calling SIP/H323 clients. But I don't know if Asterisk supports it, in archive I found only one answer about it, and I'm not sure. I am going to use it with isdn4linux card. Maybe DDI is called differently in other countries,

ZapBarge a PRI DDI
I'm using a TE405p with all four spans enabled, two configured as pri_cpe and two as pri_net, the asterisk is sitting between our ISDN (UK BT EuroISDN30) and our phone system. We have 200 DDI numbers on the ISDN's and I need to give one of our clients dial-in access to be able to monitor calls we handle on their behalf. I've got ZapBarge working but I need to restrict the client

Multiple DDI & Hunting on Analog Lines (UK)
Hi everyone, I want to get multiple DDI's and hunting across those DDI's in case one of the lines is busy using analog phone lines. The system is for a large house so I want 3 x PSTN lines. 3 x DDI's and the ability for those DDI's to be presented across all three PSTN lines. BT say you can't have more than one DDI number associated with a PSTN line and that you can't

Multiple DDI & Hunting on Analog Lines ( UK)
You should be able to get ISDN though. I think BT provide this anywhere. Otherwise your solution will be a Primary rate (ISDN30) with 8 channels. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-admin@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-admin@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Matt Sent: 07 June 2004 10:19 To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com Subject: Re: RE: [Asterisk-Users] Multiple DDI &

Information setting up asterisk with an ISDN NT
Hi Folks, First of all, I've been reading a lot and a lot about asterisk and ISDN-BRI, but is really a complicated world, not like PRI or Analog. I have 2 offices with 2 NT boxes and I want to connect them with Asterisk to route outgoing from one office two the other. At the end I want them to look like this Office2 will have only VoIP phones (not ISDN phones connected to a card in asterisk)

OT - how to get BT to present a number
If anyone can help me with this I'll be soooo grateful :) We have a isdn30 line, with a DDI range. We also have 2 business units that have separate 0870 numbers that are mapped onto 2 DDI numbers. I would like to be able to present these 0870 numbers from the business units so that the correct number is displayed on a callerid, or when 1471 is dialled. BT claim that I can only have a

chan_capi and DDI (Anlagenanschluss)
Hi all ! We have 3 NTBAs which are all going to our existing PBX. Our areacode is 06003 and our DDI enabled number 9141. I want to exchange that PBX with Asterisk, but still struggle to get it working. My CAPI.CONF is currently like this: [general] nationalprefix=0 internationalprefix=00 rxgain=0.800000 txgain=0.800000 [interfaces] context=in-capi msn=60039141 incomingmsn=* controller=1

RDNIS and asterisk
I have a couple of numbers that are diverted to a number that is conected to an isdn30 card, running asterisk 1.4. eg. 123456 => 22334455 654321 => 22334455 What I would like to know is the number of the orginal number dialled (123456 or 654321). I thought that RDNIS was the answer, but it is always coming up blank. When I did a debug on the pri span, I saw the following message

UK experts only. BT Outgoing caller ID not showing
Hi Just moved offices in the UK and moved our Asterisk box from old one to new one. Using idefisk softphones, Junghanns quadbri card for ISDN 2e interfaces. At both offices we had one standard number and a DDI range, routed with Asterisk. We'd set up the configuration so each idefisk set its own caller ID which then got sent by the extensions.conf script. Worked fine at old place but in

Migrating to dovecot from gmail apps
Hi, I'm considering migrating away from gmail for my (one-man) company, and I'm trying to decide if dovecot is the right option (I'm committed to self-hosting). I'm a developer, so happy to do my own tooling if needed. *Is there currently a good webmail interface to dovecot, or work-in progress?* If not, would a web interface be out-of-scope for dovecot? I want to use SAML for

SIP Trunking Mantra (Origination)
Hello Everyone, We are currently having talks with various service providers, and trying to determine what the best way is to interconnect in order to have access to the PSTN network. As you know there are two ways of doing this: Traditional PRI: Have trunks grouped into a transport layer such as OC3/12. With DIDs attached to the group. As you many know, this approach would also require a POP

reserving a package name
Dear All, While wanting to create a package using the name DDI (which stands for Data Documentation Initiative), I sent an email to the DDI Alliance and ask if they would mind, knowing they are now in the process of copyrighting this brand. The answer I got was negative (due to possible infringements on copyright issues), but they thanked me for raising this matter and now asking if a package

SSH over websockets
Hi all, I can't find a working archive search for this list, so please forgive me if this has been discussed before. Has any thought been given to supporting websockets in the ssh client? I'm talking about solely using a websocket as the transport layer, and leaving the actual protocol intact, as opposed to the (to me, frankly terrifying) idea of allowing a web server to act as an ssh

Providing Telewest in the UK with per extens ion outbound callerID
Would be nice to do both (type 2 and 3 I believe in Oftel terms), but I'd accept just our DDI if that was all I could get.
