SIP/2.0 489 Bad Event in reply to a PUBLISH
Hi, in these dark days of COVID-19 lockdown I'm using linphone to
connect to my office asterisk system for working from home.
It's going pretty well but the presence/BLF functions don't appear to work.
In the linphone logs and asterisk debug I find that asterisk is
rejecting linphone's PUBLISH message:

[PATCH] Grab state & Last state remembering
Hi,
while porting "Group with tabs" to Compiz
(http://forum.go-compiz.org/viewtopic.php?t=649), I noticed some things
which are available in Beryl, but not in Compiz and which I believe
Compiz should have, too:
- Remembering of the last window state inside the state change notify
This is useful for properly tracking down the window state changes (e.g.
has the window been maximized in

populate select box by ajax query with Prototype and IE7
Trying to populate a select box with a value passed in from another
select box works great in Firefox, but using IE nothing happens, no
data is getting returned back. I commented everything out and put
alerts in there and the alerts work in IE but when ajax is getting
used it seems to just die...Is this a bug or what am I doing wrong?

using "unstack" inside my function: that old scope problem again
I've been reading the R mail archives and I've found a lot of messages
with this same kind of problem, but I can't understand the answers. Can
one of you try to explain this to me?
Here's my example. Given a regression model and a variable, I want to
use unstack() on the vector of residuals and make some magic with the
result. But unstack hates me.

NFS4 issue
We are running kernel 2.6.18-164.6.1.el5 with exporting 3 aoe provided
ext4 directories. For a couple of weeks we had a small number of users
using the system with no issues, today we added 7 users and the system
crashed and did not perform correctly since.

dom0 memory limitation not working in Debian sid install of XCP
Hello,
I have installed XCP in Debian following the steps depicted in
http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/XCP_toolstack_on_a_Debian-based_distribution
.
Out of the box, dom0 takes hold of all the available memory, so I
cannot start any domU (I''m using XenCenter). If I try to limit the
dom0 memory using kernel parameter dom0_mem, it is apparently ignored.

In the expresso function, which combination of these methods for data pre-processing (when using affymetrix oligo arrays) is the best:

pmcorrect.method = pmonly subtractmm mas
summary.method = liwong avgdiff medianpolish mas
There are many options within each method. I would appreciate a hint on the best

Dear All,
How to cite the PDF user's guide for the LIMMA package?
This is not about how to cite the LIMMA package.

nlme package
In using the NLME package (R 2.6.1 for Windows), I am having a problem in running an R script that used to run with no problems using a Linux OS in 2004. So I am wondering if during these last ~3 yrs we had major changes in the syntax of the NLME package that I am not aware.
This is the R script:
library(nlme)
treat=as.factor(c(1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2))
mouse=as.factor(c(1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4))

topTable function from LIMMA
Dear R-Help,
I am using the function "topTable" from the LIMMA package. To estimate
adjusted P-values there are several options (adjust="fdr" , adjust="BH")
as shown below:
topTable(fit, number = 10, adjust = "BH", fit$Name)
I guess any of these options (fdr, BH, etc.) is using a default of
FDR=0.05 which is quite conservative (i.e., very

lme mildly blowing up
I'm running a hierarchical linear model of legislative committee
representativeness (so I have committees in chambers) using lme. It's a
simple random-intercept-as-outcome model.
When I run it, everything converges and I get results like this, trimmed
for brevity. The following are the group(chamber)-level variables. The
dependent variable is bounded between zero and one.
