cmd curl crashes asterisk:
I recently began using the curl cmd to do an external callerid lookup on my own customer database. I've noticed certain lookups will cause a crash and not show anything in the messages file or the console. The curl command is connecting to an external webserver which has a oracle db connection. The file its hitting is PHP and does a very simply lookup showing the text like "C1234 Bobs

Registering a Cisco 7965 on 1.4.26
Hi, I'm having a problem trying to get a Cisco 7965 phone registered on Asterisk 1.4.26. As we know, Cisco now, for security reasons, has made the phone ports non-symmetric, in that it sends out UDP requests on a high port and receives them on a different port. It seems that, even with 'nat' set to 'no', that Asterisk is not honoring the Contact header and keeps attempting to

Cisco 7965 - New IP phone - Need Info
All, The Cisco 7960(G) and 7940(G) IP Phones have been out for a few years and Cisco has not yet released any substantial information about the new 7965 IP phones. Has anyone got any information about the new Cisco IP phones? I'm curious about both the technical issues and the price/availability. Thanks Scott H

clustering and stratification
Hello, Does R have any capabilities (or are there any add on packages) which can do estimation of standard statistical models (means, regression, logistic regression, etc) which take into account not only weights (e.g. post-stratification weights) but also the sample design, such as stratification and clustering information (to compute a robust taylor linearized variance estimator, for

predicted time length differs from survfit.coxph:
Hello All, Does anyone know why length(fit1$time) < length(fit2$n) in survfit.coxph output? Why is the predicted time length is not the same as the number of samples (n)? I tried: example(survfit.coxph). Thanks, parmee > fit2$n [1] 241 > fit2$time [1] 0 31 32 60 61 152 153 174 273 277 362 365 499 517 518 547 [17] 566 638 700 760 791

error in Fields TPS function
Hello, I was wondering whether anyone out there knows of the solution to a problem that I'm having with the Fields package. I am getting the error message when I try and run the fields function tps (thin plate splines). Namely, for two different sets of variables, I get: > bout <- Tps( bvolcap, bdsm) Error in svd(tempM) : error 159 in dsvdc > wout <- Tps( wvolcap, wdsm)

WG: Cross subnet browsing + OpenVPN
What about your openvpn config? The tun net must have an entry in your hosts allow. If you work with briding the remote network has to be the same subnet as the local!? Bridging is the best way to have a remote net integrated. I have one logging in form Berlin on my Samba-Domain. Can Asterisk bridge between a SIP client and a Cisco Call Manager server?
Hi, This is probably outside what Asterisk is intended for, but I'm hoping it can help. I need to make and receive calls through a Cisco Call Manager server that I have no control over. I have to use a Cisco soft phone (Cisco IP Communicator), which only runs on Windows. But I'm on Linux. CCM is apparently capable of supporting SIP and H.323 interfaces, but they won't provide
