Ultrastmonkey? Ultramonkeyast? Astrimonkey? High Availability and Asterisk
Hi All, I've been labing up some HA Asterisk senario's using LVS, Ultamonkey, Asterisk DUNDi, OpenSER. UltraMonkey setup went pretty easy, workes fine with Debian Sarge, used the example on the ultramonkey website. LVS_NAT is a different story, a bit more complex and requires another server/director sitting in front of 2 asterisk servers. Also have in production OpenSER proxying calls

Intro notes (1st pass, not for general circ.)
I've just gotten through translating my notes for the course in basic statistics for health researchers. I've placed a copy on ftp://blueberry.kubism.ku.dk/priv/R-intro.tgz This is essentially a translation of the Danish notes that I wrote during the Autumn of 1997 for use with Rsept, i.e. roughly R v.50. They lean heavily on the textbook, Altman: Practical Statistics for Medical

Private data libraries (idea & trick)
It has been annoying me for a while that data in user areas are more difficult to handle than those in the packages. Especially for beginners, it would be very handy to be able just to say "data(mydata)", rather than "mydata<-read.table('mydata.txt',header=T)" What just occurred to me was that the following hack actually works: Type

How do *you* test your changes to dialplans ruled by GotoIfTime?
This past holiday weekend has resulted in some real groaners when it comes to bugs in our dialplan, making obvious the need for some changes in our procedures. First, our hours of operation for Christmas Eve, Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve had changed with little to no notice. Okay, fine, whatever, I fix. Our Christmas Eve hours (made worse by being Monday this year) dialplan

Looking for some example dialplans
I have an Asterisk system setup for our small business, and its working well. I posted to the list about a week or so ago, regarding having it handle direct extension dialing, and unfortunately I'm not any closer to solving this issue, so I was hoping someone might have a working example of how to set this up they could point me towards. Basically I have everything EXCEPT direct

Where is .xsession-errors
Hi Yesterday I was using OpenOffice Impress, doing many cut/paste operations with images, and without any notice/message/warning the application die. Then I look for ~/.xsession-errors file to see any signal about the problem, but I realized that ~/.xsession-errors is no longer present. This is a new behaviour of X.org ? I'm running CentOS 4 and XFree86 Version 4.3.0.1 (Debian

Learn To build IVR
Dear All. I'm very new to CT, but attracted by asterisk. I plan to start learn to build IVR, based on asterisk. Do I need FXO/FXS card to start building simple IVR box ? Can I use OEM X100P - FXO PCI Card ( http://www.digitnetworks.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=28 ) to start build an IVR box ? What is the cheapest FXO PCI card that can use with asterisk to build my first IVR box ?
