Issues with Xorcom astribanks when running Ubuntu 11.10 (oneiric) as a quemu/libvirt guest
Hi,
Xorcom astribanks get initialized straight on when using Ubuntu 11.10
packages but I am having a hard time to get the same result running in a
qemu/libvirt image.
The first difficulty is that astribanks devices get different usb device
ids during their initialisation process, requiring hot plug support.
I have figured out how to solve this issue using the technique described
in this post :

Trying to configure xorcom on Suse 11
I'm having trouble getting a xorcom set up.
A large part of the problem is that the box is a _long_ way away and
I can't get to/at it easily, so while I could probably fix this in a few
hours if the machine were in front of me, I'm struggling over a slow
unreliable laggy link.
Ok, enough whining from me.
I have a new Xorcom plugged into the usb of a Suse 11 machine

New Xorcom FXS USB Bank is not loading firmware
Hi,
I just got a Xorcom Astribank with 8 FXS but it does not work. So I
tried resetting and loading the firmware. But loading just times out.

Ubuntu 8.04 + Astribank
I'm trying to use a Xorcom Astribank wth Ubuntu 8.04, but got no success. I
can see the channel bank with lsusb, but when I tried to use
zaptel_hardware, or when I try the /etc/init.d/script, they don't see my
Channel Bank. I compiled the latest Zaptel 1.4.10, with Astribank's
dependecies, fxload and libusb-dev. Anyone have a similiar experience ?
Best Regards,

Using Asterisk/Digium repos => Astribank firmware not found
Hello,
I'm writing here hoping to have a hint from Asterisk/Digium packager
maintainer, Jason Parker (of course that any other's opinion is
welcomed).
We have installed an asterisk machine using Asterisk and Digium repos.
Unfortunately we have found that an Astribank could not be connected
due to the lack of the firmware files

Xorcom Astribank udev issue in Ubuntu 9.10
Hi,
I have upgraded an Asterisk installation with a Xorcom BRI Astribank
that was working under Ubuntu 8.04 to Ubuntu 9.10 and the device is no
longer initialized.
When I reload the udev rules, I see that the rules seems to be correctly
loaded:
udevd[452]: reading '/etc/udev/rules.d/40-xpp.rules' as rules file
However, these rules do not seem to be triggered:
# udevadm trigger

Setting span orders with Astribank and Sangoma A101
Hi All
Just a quick check on the best way to ensure multiple cards/devices load in the correct order.
Asterisk 1.8 with Sangoma A101 had no problems until we introduced an Astribank.

Xorcom Bri and asterisk crashes
We have recently install an asterisk solution with about 60 physical
extensions. While the system is running it runs reasonably well (Still
have a few teething problems) but twice now they have experienced a
degradation in voice quality and dropped calls and then finally asterisk
completely crashes out. Restarting asterisk will work for a little while
and it will crash again, each time less time

xpp_fxloader fails to load Astribank firmware on Ubuntu Lucid
I am running Asterisk on Ubuntu 2.6.32-25-server with asterisk
1.6.2.5-0ubuntu1 and dahdi 2.2.1-0ubuntu2.
The machine has a passive HCF-based PCI ISDN card and an Astribank 8
attached. The ISDN card works fine.
