monitor-type=MixMonitor
Hi! Since we upgraded to 1.6.1.11, asterisk is only outputing monitored files -in and -out. It is not mixing them in the end. queues.conf has monitor-type=MixMonitor... Would somebody help me debug why it doesn't mix the sounds?? Thanks -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Hi everyone, I'm having a trouble while developing monitoring tool for queues. I'm using C# Sharp & I follow the instruction on http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+manager+Example%3A+C+Sharp. My question is how can I get information about how many people are there waiting on queue with this asterisk manager? I want to make that every time there is a call come into the

DHCP, the TFTP Server setting and the Cisco 79xx phones
The thing I dislike the most about the 79xx phones is that in DHCP mode, they expect the DHCP server to tell them their TFTP server address. They won't let you set it manually. So if I don't have DHCP server that gives TFTP server info, which is most of the DHCP servers at out there, then the phone won't be able to download any updates made to the SIP000*.cnf file. Using dhcpd on

* build problem on older systems
Hi, I have * running on a SuSE Email Server II, which uses an older libc-version. Calls to res_ninit et al. from enum.c prevent asterisk from building on that system. Could that possibly be changed to use res_init and res_search in order to provide backward compatibility with these systems ? Thanks, Holger von Ameln

Classic NO AUDIO problem - DD-WRT and NAT forwarding - HELP PLEASE!
Hi Everyone, I have tried to set the box to DMZ and also tried to port forward 5060 TCP/UDP and 10000/20000 UDP to the server IP but it's no use and there is a no audio issue. I am pretty certain it's a NAT issue as the sip call establishes. I also made a succesful IAX2 call through IAX trunking and zap lines on this server but sip doesn't work. I register to an extension but even

rate limiting netmask w/ dd-wrt
I''m trying to setup a DD-WRT router (www.dd-wrt.com; embedded micro-device linux for the uninitiated) to rate limit all the traffic it receives from its wi-fi interface. I followed the instructions from the cookbook section on rate limiting (http://lartc.org/howto/lartc.ratelimit.single.html), but it doesn''t appear to be working. I tested by checking my laptop''s

I want that and AGI script (Perl) recieve a call, and the user introduce the date, the time and the destination phone number (where the temporized AGI must call). Before an AGI script will call to that number in the date and time introduced by user. That's possible, and it's how can I

Making FORWARD_IPV4=YES permanent / DHCP multiple routers
First, I'd like to configure my system to forward ip, to act as a gateway for my network. I've always used a script during startup to do this: echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o ${UPLINK} -j SNAT --to ${IP_NAT} This works fine, however I want this permanent so I don't have to run the script on startup. I have the firewall setup with SNAT

Asterisk 1.2.12.1 and snom 360 6.2.3 no audio
Hello, when trying to use a snom 360 (Firmware 6.2.3) with Asterisk 1.2.12, I receive no audio. Asterisk 1.4.0 b2 works fine though. I?d upgrade to 1.4 if I hadn?t just bought a Junghanns OctoBRI that apparently only works with bristuff, which is stuck at the 1.2 series. Is this a known problem? Can it be fixed by downgrading the phones software? Thank you, Holger von Ameln -- Holger von

ISCI Network Hang - Lun becomes unavailable
I am sharing out ZFS ISCSI luns to my Mac. When copying large files, the network will hang in the middle of the transfer and the LUN will become unavailable until I plumb the NIC. This issue appears to only occur only when I am reading files (ie..syncing an ipod) and not writing (I''m not 100% sure though). When I snoop the interface I notice a bunch of ARP lookups. Any ideas? CentOS 5.4 32-bit vs. 64-bit strange mystery WRT PXEBoot
I am in the process of migrating my desktop system from 32-bit CentOS 4.8 to 64-bit CentOS 5.4. One of the things I want to be able to do is boot my IBM Thinkpad X25 laptop via its PXEBoot ROM over the LAN (it has a hard disk and boot locally just fine, I just want a way to boot it for rescue and/or new O/S installs). On my 32-bit CentOS 4.8 this works just fine. It also works on another

a possible heads up wrt CERN experiment breaking SL 5.6
This may or may not be of interest to CentOS developers; if it is not or if it is redundant of your efforts to keep atop of what's happening, you have my apologies. Whether it is joint or disjoint wrt to the upstream code is not known at this point, but I have submitted a request for elucidation if CERN security allows. kind regards/ldv ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Ewan

advice wrt pxelinux & tftpd & dhcp
Ive got a mucho-kludgo (but working) setup where; pxe-client boots an os-du-jour in runlevel 2, rc.2 runs a test-script that ends in a reboot, meanwhile, on tftp-server host, a script watches the syslog, notes the arrival of an RRQ message for a kernel, and runs a program to rewrite the pxelinux.cfg/default file so that it causes a different kernel to boot the next time. This setup lets me
