I have a 536i expansion module attached to a 57i-CT. The BLF lights on the 536i will light up and work fine for a while... however after a bit they seem to loose their ability to see if someone is on a phone. They still work to dial, if I try to dial, however, they don't light up when someone makes a call, or if their phone rings. If I reboot the phone, the lights start working again

Hi, I need to make use of BLF feature on Aastra 6757i phones but its an Asterisk 1.4 using realtime architecture. Extensions are defined in realtime database and dial plan is in AEL. I am able to correctly setup hints in the dialplan, but they don't work. Did some research and found out that hints don't work work with realtime extensions. Is there any work around? Does anyone have Shared (bridged) Line Appearance working in Asterisk 1.4? Specifically with the Aastra 55i. Specifically, I am using the Aastra 55i with the expansion module. We want to see if other handsets are being used. (BLF) Getting BLF to work would be a great start. It sounds like setting up the hints properly will achieve this. right? Getting "no service" display on aastra 480i. Sip debug shows an "unathorized" blub when the aastra tries to register. Some reading indicates that 1.4 firmware wants aastra.cfg and mac.cfg in /tftpboot/. There are none. Anyone have basic config files? Or can point me to a good link? Hello All, I have a need for a wireless solution and have been looking at the Aastra 57i CT phone that have the wireless handset with them. Aastra says they will cover "up to 300,000 square feet". I am finding this hard to accept. I was also wondering about the "secure WDCT cordless technology" Could this be a form of DECT? Any one using these that can shed some lite?

Actually, I have tested this here with an Aastra 9133i and an Asterisk@Home server, and the 9133i will re-subscribe on its own after an Asterisk reboot, if you wait long enough.
