3G Video Mobile Phone
Hi, Is there any future possibility that Asterisk will be compatible with connection to 3G video mobile phone such as Nokia 7600, Nokia 6630 and many ohters in Japan, Europe and HongKong? If this become possible, H.323 video clients and 3G mobile phone will be able to share video conversation, which will be huge in those countries. In Japan, more than 3 million 3G video mobile phones are

Projecting data onto a NMS plot
Hello all and thanks for the help. I am analyzing a dataset using MetaMDS and I would like to project some extra samples onto the plot such that the extra samples do not play a role in defining the axes. I have been thinking of different ways of doing this and I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for an easy way to do this (possibly a way to weight samples in the analysis?) Thanks --

Problem with PXE reboot option
Hello, on may 7th I send the following mail. Can you confirm that it is received and can you comment on the reaction of the manufacturer? In our system (lot of CPCI boards) the atftp server is sometimes so busy that a TFTP request times out. I added the PXE option reboottime to force a quick reboot. Once in a while this fails and the board just doesn't reboot. I can easily reproduce the

Re: 12.50$ per port ???
Shoval, Interesting Mention. I agree, most people don't have CO exp. And I wish daily I had enough. Understand that what I mean by my e-mail is consumer side FXS ports, in broader terms, I mean, customer picks up a phone line, it signals a channel bank which signals *. 24 of those channels. Not channels equipped to Send Signal to the CO that a loop has been made.. meaning FXO. 24

PXE sometimes fails to reboot
Hello, In our system (lot of CPCI boards) the atftp server is sometimes so busy that a TFTP request times out. I added the PXE option reboottime to force a quick reboot. Once in a while this fails and the board just doesn't reboot. I can easily reproduce the problem when I rename/delete the pxelinux.cfg directory. In that case the board reboots fine a few times but hangs within 15 minutes.

NMS Opinions
A recent post that mentioned Zabbix inspired me to have a look at them again while I was waiting on something as it?s been a while since I looked at them. Currently, I was using Nagios but had to start using Munin to add some functionality I needed and don?t want to continue down this road of supporting umpteen different packages. Between Zabbix, Pandora and HyperIQ, what would anyone familiar

templates with same name before extension are cached
Hi all, I was just wondering if this is the intended behavior. Here is my setup: controller def index respond_to do |f| f.xml { render :xml => true } f.html { render :layout => :none } end end In my views I have a file for each type index.herb index.xerb The first request I send is cached and interferes with the other one. For example, if I send an xml request

Accessing Package NEWS (NEWS.Rd)
Okay. So, after having spent quite some time never really tracking down why my package NEWS files were unacceptable to readNEWS(), I noticed that there was recent (to me anyway) development that allowed the NEWS to be done as an Rd file. Sweet! A more standard format... I converted a NEWS file in one of my unreleased packages to Rd format. checkNEWS() gave it a thumbs up. But then it went south.

What is "client failure in oplock break"?
Below are a number of errors that appeared in a log file today. I am running Samba v2.2.5 on a Red Hat Linux v7.3 system. The client experiencing/causing the errors below is a WinXP(SP1) machine. The log entries below pertain to 2 errors, the first in handling file "6.zip" and the second in attempting to run file "DiskeeperWks413zssi.exe". I didn't see the first

Why is the diag function so slow (for extraction)?
Along Luke's lines, would(n't) it be enough to look for existence of attribute 'class' to decide whether to dispatch or not, i.e. if c() is needed or not? Even without .subset(), there is a remarkable improvement. I think it's worth condition the code on dispatch or not. For example: [HB-X201]{hb}: svn diff diag.R Index: diag.R

Hot plug PCI?
The quick question: Do the digium drivers for the Digium Wildcard TE410P (4 port T1/E1/PRI 3.3v card) , the T100P (single port T1), and the TDM400P support hot plug PCI? I am also noting that while the TDM400P doesn't state the voltage requirements, it looks like a 5v card. I hope that I am wrong on this. What type of T1 channel bank would people recoment for ISDN (for video

Adjusted p-values with TukeyHSD (patch)
Dear R-developeRs, Attached follows a patch against svn 34959 that adds the printing of p-values to the TukeyHSD.aov function in stats package. I also updated the corresponding documentation file and added a 'see also' reference to the simint function of the multcomp package. As it was already brought up in a previous thread [1] in R-help, one can obtain the adjusted
