Asterisk open source project servers have new names!
In order to more closely align the services that Digium provides to the
Asterisk open source community with the Asterisk project itself,
we've recently renamed many of the servers that provide these services.
Effective immediately:
1) http://bugs.digium.com has moved to https://issues.asterisk.org
There are no content or functional changes (except for the new site
being SSL/TLS enabled),

proposing to make to the Asterisk release and support cycles. As always,
before implementing any changes of this type, we'd like to collect some
community feedback on the proposal.
The page is here:

Open Source Pavilion at AstriCon: Your project wanted!
Each year at AstriCon, we have an Open Source Pavilion which showcases
projects which are adjuncts to Asterisk, or which are directly
relevant to improving the utility and features of Asterisk. It gives
smaller projects the chance to have some space to display what they're
doing, and to give demonstrations to the AstriCon attendees who are
interested in some of the things happening

Recently it was brought to our attention that while we announce new

asterisk-announce and asterisk-security mailing lists (and others),
there are frequently changes that are made in our policies, procedures,

Is anyone using Review Board on CentOS 5?
I'm trying to install Review Board (http://review-board.org) with
python-setup tools and "sudo easy_install ReviewBoard", but this
fails as follows:

Wideband (G722) MeetMe
Hi,
I wanted to follow up on this thread about WB support on the MeetMe bridge that is in 1.6.2. Does it only work for G722 or any WB codec ?
I am working with another 16k WB codec that I can transcode to 722 and vice versa. I was curious if the 1.6.2 MeetMe bridge can also mix 722 with any other WB codec natively(without downscaling).
Thanks,
Serhad Doken

Asterisk community services powered by Atlassian tools
Some of you have already noticed we've chosen a number of Atlassian
tools to provide services to the Asterisk and Asterisk SCF communities

alone in this since many other open source projects have chosen these
tools as well, but I'd just like to state again how happy we are that
Atlassian is willing to license these
