Feature request: SIPPEER or IAXPEER equivalent for DAHDI
Hello, With setvar statements in chan_dahdi.conf, we have a convenient way to store DAHDI channels specific values. Unfortunately, we don't have a function to access this data from the dialplan as easily as SIPPEER ou IAXPEER would for SIP or IAX trunks. Using AST_CONFIG, you can access DAHDI setvar value but: 1. only one setvar value (see bellow) 2. AST_CONFIG reads values from current

Is SIPPEER curcalls working for you ?
Hi, In this thread http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2008-October/219592.html , I wondered whether SIPPEER curcalls was working. I could test this anew today. Here are my findings : Alice, Bob and Carol ar all using SIP Phones. Whenever Alice is calling Bob, - if Carol is calling Alice, SIPPEER(Alice:curcalls) equals 0 - if Carol is calling Bob, SIPPEER(Bob:curcalls) equals 1

It is adding the character ''3D'' before any quotes (single or double) in my source and smattering ''='' characters throughout as well. Very strange. SIP provider registration attempts
Hi, I am registering my Asterisk boxes to a SIP provider for outgoing calls. My "outgoing" dialplan context tries to dial out in sequence, starting with the SIP provider then ISDN lines and finally analog lines. So the idea is that if the SIP trunk fails then all calls are dialed out via ISDN and analog. I noticed however that if I switch my DSL connection off (ie. no internet access

Reference classes and memory consumption
Dear All, It seems that reference classes consume a lot of memory which became a problem for my rather extensive simulation. I prepared a small example. An instance of this minimal class uses about 20K on disk. rm(list=ls(all=TRUE)); MySmallClass = setRefClass("MySmallClass", fields = list( myField = "numeric" ), methods = list( initialize =

How to call subset in a for loop?
Dear all, I have a data frame 'myDf', in which one of the fields 'myField' can have several possible values. To extract the observations for which it has value "A", I can do: subset(myDf, myField="A") However, when I try to do this within a loop, it doesn't work, it returns everything, and not a subset for (currField in c("A", "B",

Using SIPPEER status with CUT function?
Hi All, I'm using Asterisk 1.4 branch and checking the status of some SIP Peers with the functions ${SIPPEER(101:status)} and the result is "OK (48 ms)". Seems to work fine. Now I would like to use the function CUT to set a variable with the 'OK' portion of the status "OK (48 ms)" and then do some follow on stuff if the status is OK. I'm running into syntax

About normality tests...
Hi all, I have two very large samples of data (10000+ data points) and would like to perform normality tests on it. I know that p < .05 means that a data set is considered as not normal with any of the two tests. I am also aware that large samples tend to lead more likely to normal results (Andy Field, 2005). I have a few questions to ensure that I am using them right. 1) The Shapiro-Wilk

Polycom Microbrowser
I have just spent the morning playing around with a Polycom IP600's microbrowser. Everything is working pretty well. In answer to the question of what type of XML it runs, it appears to be more or less XHTML-compliant. I have created a basic set of web pages allowing users to clock in and out against our MySQL timeclock system, running a PHP back-end. It's running like a champ.

Is SIPPEER curcalls working for you ? [SOLVED]

Meanwhile, I had found a (complex) workaround using GROUP, GROUP_COUNT and SIPPEER but limitonpeers is much more concise. Thanks a lot. > > > Hi, > > > In this

Dynamic dialplan
We intend to use Asterisk with a very large dialplan (with a lot of functionality for 3000+ users). Each user will be able to change several of his parameters in the dialplan, so we will be forced to reload the diaplan constantly. Has anybody else any previous experience with a similar installation? There are some things that we'd like to know, if anybody can help us. These are: - Is

Realtime static does not work in 1.6.1 or 1.6.2
Starting with Asterisk 1.2 I have always used realtime static to load my extensions.conf into Asterisk. It worked perfectly up to version 1.6.0.X but starting from 1.6.1.X and upwards it simply does nothing. I can see that the extensions.conf file is mapped to the database: == Parsing '/etc/asterisk/asterisk.conf': == Found == Parsing '/etc/asterisk/extconfig.conf': ==
