Hi I am in the process of installing a new box and using dahdi. I have a tdm410 + hardware echo canceller. I have just read in the read me for dadhi that VPMADT032 support has been removed and unlike with the zaptel stuff i could just download and install the firmware I can't with dahdi what is the best way forward to recompile with hardware echo canceller support. Thanks Alex

ztdummy compile under 2.6.28 ?
It looks like something has changed in the HPET kernel code in 2.6.28 (maybe .27 too) that's stopped ztdummy.c compiling (in 1.2 and 1.4 versions of zapata) A kernel structure member has been renamed with some crypic comments in the lkml about it. Anyone know the right thing to do - I'm not up on the linux kernel guts, nor how ztdummy might interact with it, so simply renaming the

ztdummy kills audio
I'm running asterisk/zaptel 1.4.5. If I load the ztdummy module, the dialplan hangs when it tries to play audio (i.e. Playback) -- and I just hear static on the line. I'm running this on a debian system. I actually have it working on a different debian system but have yet to discover the important difference between the two installations. Any advice on where to look? Thanks John

ztdummy on Fedora Core 2
I followed the Wiki instructions to get zaptel to work on Fedora core 2. It looked like everything went perfect including the loading of ztdummy. However, I am having meetme and MOH problems synonymous with ztdummy not loading. Take a look at my lsmod...Any ideas? Ubuntu 8.04 + Astribank
I'm trying to use a Xorcom Astribank wth Ubuntu 8.04, but got no success. I can see the channel bank with lsusb, but when I tried to use zaptel_hardware, or when I try the /etc/init.d/script, they don't see my Channel Bank. I compiled the latest Zaptel 1.4.10, with Astribank's dependecies, fxload and libusb-dev. Anyone have a similiar experience ? Best Regards, -- Guilherme Loch G?es

problems inserting dahdi modules using Debian Leni
Hi. I have a Debian Leni system with asterisk-1.8. I was trying to get meetme to work and it depends on dahdi, so I compiled dahdi-trunk and dahdi-tools-trunk, however, when trying to insert dahdi_dummy, it complained about symbol crc_ccitt_table, although the module was actually there in the kernel tree. So, I took the Debian source, and I had the config and I did make Bzimage, make modules

chan_dahdi refuses to build
Using asterisk 1.6.2.1 and dahdi 2.2.0.2. dadhi-linux installed just fine. Using dahdi_dummy as there is no card in system. Did not install libpri, again, no card. When compiling asterisk, I include -with-dahdi and everything ./configure's fine but when I do 'make', everything goes fine but chan_dahdi doesn't get compiled. No errors. No warnings. It just skips it for some reason.

app_meetme not loading
I originally built my Asterisk server without installing the Zaptel package as it was going to be a purely SIP based system. However when I went to setup conferencing using meetme I found out that app_meetme is dependant on the ztdummy for timing. I have now installed the zaptel package and I believe the ztdummy module is loading ok [root@astro asterisk-1.4.0-beta2]# lsmod Module

Problems with CentOS ztdummy kernel 2.6
Hi List, I am having some trouble with installing the latest version of ztdummy on a CentOS Kernel 2.6 system. I have installed a few Asterisk systems on Slackware Kernel 2.4.x without any issues, unfortunately there is no choice about this distro, or kernel as it has been preinstalled by someone else. And so I am in the dark with an unfamiliar distro and kernel. I am fairly sure the

Hello I'm trying to install Dahdi through source code on a Fedora 13 host to use an OpenVox PCI card with a single FXO port, but dahdi_cfg -vv isn't happy. 1. minimum card for dahdi timing source ?
Hi All, for a vicidial server which uses only voip, which is the minimum telephony card which would provide the required clock timing source for conferences to work properly ? Maybe the Digium TDM410PLF card without any daughter card would do the job ? Thank you very much for supporting. Have a nice week-end, Mike
