Hello, I'm wondering if anyone else has been observing problems lately with 1.4.18 and higher releases of asterisk not properly recording calls. When using MixMonitor, the resulting file is only a few bytes long. I think this is because asterisk is doing Native bridging even though MixMonitor should block that. I upgraded my office server from 1.4.22 to 1.6.0.5 on the weekend and after some testing there seems to be a compatibility problem when using Aastra phones. Specifically: 1) How many ring tones do they come with? 2) Can you upload your own ring tones? 3) If so, what format and how? Hi, We have a few Aastra 480ci phones and we've noticed that in order to get the phone to receive a call, qualify must be = no. Apparently the Aastras do not respond to the qualify message (or respond in a way Asterisk doesn't understand) and Asterisk thinks the phone is unreachable. However, this now prevents MWI from working properly on the phones. Does anyone know how to get MWI

I'm having problems getting my aastra 480i to register with the asterisk server. I can inititate calls from the phone, but >sip show peers does not show any IP address registered for this phone. The problem with the extra ptime descriptions in the SDP has been fixed in Asterisk (see http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/svn-commits/2006-October/017694.html). I've got the latest version of the 1.4 branch from SVN and have verified that the codec negotiation is working again. All I get, no matter what I've tried is "Unable to upgrade firmware". tftpd is working because the dialplan freshens, and I have aastra.cfg whatevermacaddressfile.cfg and firmware.st in /tftpboot Am I missing something stupid? A Cisco 3560 switch will do 15.6 watts on all 24 ports. Just trying to find out if we need that much power. Can't seem to find any info on the Aastra site. Comments?

Hi all, This is my first post to the list. I have searched the net far and wide but can't find an answer to this problem. When I have call forward working or use the voicemail from a SIP phone, the first part of the message is always cut off. So instead of hearing "call forward cancelled" I hear "l forward cancelled". Or in voicemail I hear "edian mail"

But where do can you get this later firmware from? I'm still on 1.0.0.78 on my 480i.
