If it helps anyone developing Rails apps or gems, I wrote a shortcut for set_trace_func, so next time you want to just add a line before and after some function you are trying to debug you can have Ruby temporarily output every line, method, etc. executed. Also, it lets you define the format, use other loggers, etc. via a proc/lambda define, since you might not like the default format.

Hi list! I'm trying to configure the Kirk IP 600 wireless (DECT) system. The wireless phones are regular DECT phones, the Kirk IP 600 is doing the voip part by registering/gatewaying the phones to a callmanager server. Does anyone have the 7970 work with sccp? I have used the example configurations from the wiki. I can see that the phone is failing to retrieve the CTLSEP<MAC>.tlv file and then is able to retrieve the SEP<MAC>.cnf.xml file. The phone is hanging with the message "updating ctl". I'm trying to setup a couple of Cisco 7960's in asterisk. I have asterisk working fine for sip clients, and can call the 7960's just fine, but I can't seem to dial out on them. As soon as I enter the first digit, the phone attempts to dial it without waiting for the rest. I've changed timeout settings, etc but can't seem to get it to work. Any ideas? Asterisk
