'geepack' and 'gee' package outputs
Hi, having used both the gee pacakge and the geepack package, i am unsure of
how to interpret the results.
Here are the results from the geeglm function from the geepack package

Site Navigation With Polymorphic Has Many Through
Hi, seem to keep running into a wall here. I can''t find any resources on
site navigation that can deal with any model being in the nav, allow
nesting, and can dynamically update.
So I thought about it for a while, and decided on a MenuItems class, which
contained the position of the child in relation to it''s siblings, where the
parent and the child were polymorphic. Then a given

How to append the random no.s for different variables in the same data.frame
Dear R helpers,
(At the outset I sincerely apologize if I have not put forward my following query properly, though I have tried to do so.)
Following is a curtailed part of my R - code where I am trying to generate say 100 random no.s for each of the products under consideration.
library(plyr)
n = 100
my_code = function(product, output_avg, output_stdev)
{
BUR_mc = rnorm(n, output_avg,

fun.aggregate=mean in reshape
Hi all,
We are facing a problem while introducing ourselves to Reshape package
use. Melt seems to work fine, but cast fails when we use mean as
fun.aggregate. As you see here, length and sum work fine, but mean
throws this same error whatever dataset we use.

Call monitor/barge/train
Hi,
I'm planning on migrating someone who uses a very mature system. They would
be logging in either as AgentLogin() or AQM. The main requirement however,
is:
The supervisor will have a control panel, where he will see how many of his
agents are on call. If they are, he can "right-click" on the agent and get
the options Call Monitor (where the super just listens in on the call,

Failure creating model in spec setup not reported?
Hi
I''ve just tracked down a wierd error that AFAICT is caused by an
error not being raised in the setup:

@product = Product.new(:name => "Product1", :provider =>

AgentCallBackLogin vsAddQueueMember
sorry, was only for users list...
Hi Kevin,
Hi list,
you are right, acting now is not needed, when callbacklogin will be removed
anywhere in future...
But thinking how to realice alternatives can't be so wrong.
Callbacklogin gives a very simple way to use more queues for one agent,
which only has to logon to only one system.
No need to make dbs or tables for saving, where the agent has to be

Callback agents without chan_agent issues (queue recording)
AgentCallBackLogin is going to be deprecated, so I've decided to emulate
chan agent using AQM and RQM funcions and Local channel.
I use asterisk 1.2.13 and latest 1.2.x. zapata.
I used example 2 from
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Agents+without+agent+channel and
example from queues-with-callback-members.txt from asterisk 1.4 doc
directory. My dialplan is very similar to Digium's

mouse problems [A4 Tech OP-3D]
After some poking into psm.c code I've got some results.
First, for the archives, debug.psm.loglevel tunable is much more useful
than a verbose boot for debugging PS/2 mouse issues. A good value is 2.
Second, I fiddled with various probe methods to force them to
"recognize" my mouse (by loosening their checks) and found out that the
mouse works perfectly if it is treated as

DTMF between Asterisk servers.
Hello,
I'm a little confused on DTMF.
A sip peer is registered on two Asterisk servers. No dtmfmode is set for
them, the sip peer is 999 on Asterisk 1 and 999 on Asterisk 2. They both
register on each other.
A call comes in on Asterisk server 1, provider 1, dtmf=inband. Then the call
is transferred to Asterisk 2:

Samba 4.3.0 and DNS entries missing for DCs
hello,
we've just upgraded from samba 3.6.6 to samba 4.3.0. We are using
INTERNAL as dns backend. We have 1 domain and 6 DCs on 5 different
sites. Replication between DCs is ok as we can see with "samba-tool drs
showrepl". We configured them like it is described on the wiki and used
the RSAT tool "Sites and services" to add sites, subnets, links ... But

Data consistency with Gluster 3.2.5
I have set up a replicated, four-node gluster config for a web farm. The
idea is that each web node is its own Gluster server, and will have its
own copy of the entire web root locally. It then serves the cluster to
itself via a mount. We're running it over dual GigE NICs bonded.
The problem I am having is when we switch live traffic to nodes in the
cluster, they almost immediately get
