Website callback
Hi, I have a website where customers enter their phone numbers to be called. I'd like them to have to put in information and 'schedule' a call. 1) Call Immediately 2) Call in the next _ minutes 3) Call me tomorrow, same time. So, Asterisk will pull two variables from this php websites, $phonenumber and $timetocall. $timetocall will need to be calculated as

Zaptel Compilation Error
Hi List; I think my problem in Zaptel compilation is related to autoconf: no input file, anyone has an advise? Also, I did a change in the Makefile existed in the following path: /usr/src/kernels/2.6.20-1.2319.fc5-i686/ EXTRAVERSION = 2.6.20-1.2319.fc5 Now, if I run uname -r then I get output: 2.6.20-1.2319.fc5 But the directory under the kernels is: 2.6.20-1.2319.fc5-i686 So do I have to

vzaphfc?
Hi list! I'm totally fed up with bristuff (or it's instability with a simple HFC-S card), 2 out of 3 times when people try to call they get the information tone that the number is not connected. I would like to try vzaphfc and I am looking for information on it. >From previous posts I found that the only place where the sources seem to be maintained and available is at the debian

Unable to load module chan_zap.so
I am having trouble with chan_zap.so not loading. When I load it from modules.conf, Asterisk bails out without any error message. When I load it from the console, it just says "Unable to load module chan_zap.so" no matter what verbose level I am using. dmesg says: Zaptel Version: 1.4.4 Zaptel Echo Canceller: MG2 Freshmaker version: 73 Freshmaker passed register test Module 0:

Web UI - Best practices?
Hi, I'm stuck writing a Web GUI because nothing out there is exactly what I need. I'm not writing something as extensive as what _is_ out there, but just something that allows users to change where their calls are forwarded and other small things like that. What I wanted to know is what is recommended by those you successfully wrote their own UI : 1) Modifying the config directly in

Bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1q and & florz patch compile trouble
Again trouble compiling bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1q with the florz patch on a x86_64 box (I guess nobody is using x86_64 platform or is able to fix this themselves?) First of all when bristuff is downloaded and compile is started it appears that the bristuff Makefiles are badly broken. The asterisk Makefiles all do see to find the kernel sources on a RHEL4 box in the proper directory, the pure

Zaptel FXO offhook when connected to PSTN
I installed Trixbox and a TDM400P with 2 FXO and 2 FXS ports and am having an annoying issue with the FXO ports. As soon as I plug either one into the phone line it's as though the line is disconnected i.e. get disconnected tone when trying to dial out, line is busy when dialling in. The CLI shows the following: trixbox1*CLI> zap show channel 4 Channel: 4 File Descriptor: 18 Span: 11*

zaptel 1.2.22.1 on kernel 2.6.22: wctdm24xxp.ko needs unknown symbol pci_module_init
Hi, Before I report a bug on http://bugs.digium.com, I would like to know if someone is seeing the same error message. Personally I am not using wctdm24xxp but other modules such as wcte12xp and wctdm. The latter modules load fine and are compiled with pci_register_driver as expected. The only module that seems to require the deprecated function pci_module_init is wctdm24xxp. Is this normal?

imap on debian
Any potential testers eager to build imap storage support using proper Debian packages: Resonably up-to-date packages of c-client (uw-imap) 2004/2006 are by now only availble from experimental: http://packages.debian.org/experimental/mail/uw-imapd On my test Etch system I simply downloaded the sources of those packages nd rebuilt them (debuild). IIRC with that installed the configure script had

FW: zaptel 1.4.0 on Fedora Core 6 x86_64
I tried to test Asterisk 1.4 on FC6 x86_64. I have it working on FC5 x86_64 very good, but since FC keeps updating, I tried to follow newer kernel versions. I can't pass the zaptel compilation. Everything is OK, but when I finished, and tried to load it, allways got module not found when I run modprobe zaptel, and modprobe ztdummy. I already tried to modify is with the sed 1 option but

need examples of asterisk and mysql integration
I'm presently working on a project to build a scheduling system accessible by both web and phone. on the web side one can query what items are available when by using the time or the item as a key then reserve for an available time slot. reservations may also be modified by the user that made them or an admin. Where may I find examples of doing similar things with asterisk? all I've
