Asterisk version is 1.4.18.1 through AsteriskNow! 1.02 The box we have is paired with a Digium TE110P and we've managed to get it to the point where incoming calls via a single DID (from NTT Japan) can be received and answered

Stumped by BroadVoice SIP
Hello guys. I am a fairly new user to Asterisk, and I'm just having a tough time. My goal is to set up a VOIP PBX. I have signed up with a BroadVoice number, and I have three systems with SIP phones. The PBX and the SIP phones are all behind a Cisco PIX running NAT. I am using Asterisk CVS version from yesterday. I also tried 1.0.3 with little luck. The SIP phones are two X-Lites on

T100P: Can't Make/Receive Zap Calls (Long Newbie Blah)
All, Alright, I've looked around the internet, the voip-info.org wiki, and browsed the contents of this mailing list. While I've found a couple of scenarios that are close to this one, I haven't found one that uses my particular card (T100P). Without further delay -- I have successfully configured internal SIP services between a Snom 200 and a Windows X-Lite client and have

Can I tell if a call picked up on PSTN extension... for example?
Don't know enough to properly term the problem I'm seeing... sorry if subject appears vague. And I have other questions too, but "Newbie Help Wanted" isn't exactly more specific... ;-) My setup, intended for testing and all, "*" version 1.6.0.6, dahdi with an X100p clone. Regular phone line provides PSTN access with one port (and my DSL). Calls come in and are

Cisco and Asterisk
Hey all, I'm pretty new to Asterisk and VoIP in general, so I'm hoping I can get a bit of help here. First I'll explain my setup, and then my problem. Right now I have a Cisco 3640 with a VIC2FXO card in it which has 2 FXO ports. I have an analog phone line plugged into the first port (voice-port 1/0/0). I've got it setup so that calls coming into that analog line are

PSTN tones with ISDN4Linux
Hi all, I'm playing with Asterisk and I've already configured all needed .conf files. It works quite well, but now I need your help to tune the system: when I place a call from a softphone to the PSTN, I can't hear directly Telco's tones and I can't use its services, e.g. a mobile's answering machine. I don't know if I have to modify the dialplan or if it depends on my

DTMF Question
I have a SIP phone calling via a SIP trunk another asterisk system, that then sends the call out a ZAP channel. When I press any of the features defined in features.conf, The end user on the ZAP side hears the DTMF tones, and none of the features work. My DTMFmode on the SIP users definition is rfc2833 Asterisk console doesn't register that a feature is being recognized, any ideas? Below

BUG: FOP reports incorrect (duplicate) IP address until restarted
Hi, This problem may be related to a configuration problem but I believe it is a bug in the FOP since restarting the FOP server clears the problem. Here is the scenario: Using AgentCallBackLogin and have four agents logged in a call is made to one of the agents directly from an internal phone. Okay so far. Call is hung up and the same extension is used to call another agent okay again, no

Problem with parking
Hi, I'm having problem with call parking. When I park call, either via transfer to xten or park digit sequence from features.conf, I hear the parking lot number read to me and the user gets transferred. However, MOH stops for the caller the moment user is transferred. The user can be retrieved by dialing the parked extension and voice resumes. If the parked user hangs up, the channel state

Default delay time for Attended call transfer
Greetings, I have an issue with the length of time that passes from when someone hits the transfer soft key on a Cisco 7940, after doing an attended transfer, and when the recipient?s connects with the transferred call. It appears to be around 6 seconds. Is there a .conf in Asterisk where this time can be reduced? Thank you for your help Don No virus found in this outgoing message.

SIP configuration issues
Apologies if this is a repeat: I trawled through the archives and couldn't find a reasonable answer, so I'm asking here. I have an Asterisk install connecting from behind a NAT device (DSL modem) to a SIP proxy (in my case, Broadvoice). I have an sjphone softphone on a Windows PC also behind the NAT device that connects to the Asterisk install, and using this setup I've been pretty
