FWD and IPCall
Hello All, I have a problem. I have tried everything that is in the book "The Future of Telephony" as well as on the FWD (freeworlddialup) website, and there is still a problem. My asterisk box is not able to associate with the FWD server. I get: Registration Rejected by [insert IP], and I can't use my IPCall number to reach my Asterisk box. Any suggestions? -- -Shane Blog:

(D) I am on a mixing board, running an internet radio show. I want to run asterisc into the board, and run an output from the board to asterisc. Is that

Sample configs, with the only addition being by SIP phone, and my incoming voip. Last week I got everything setup, calls were working, etc.,. I cam across a tutorial for voicemail, followed it, and it worked. When I call my phone and dont answer, it goes

How do I get an ssh client to authenticate with samba4's kerberos GSSAPI? [Solved]
Hi, I solved my ssh GSSAPI problem. There were a lot of solutions on google referring to a proper fqdn in the /etc/hosts file and having the fqdn's/principals in the kerberos server's keytab file but I found out that my problem was that the samba4/kerberos server was running on a multi-homed machine and that the ssh server kerberos authentication needed the following parameter in order

6.2 How to change hostname for each individual IP
Good day, I was wondering if there was a way to change the hostname for each individual IP address allocated to a system. For example if only one NIC card is being used (single port) and the hostname of the machine is "example.example.org", this hostname is being displayed for all applications no matter what IP I set the application to BIND to. My server has multiple IP addresses

gssapi auth issue...
Hi all-- been away from the list for a few weeks so forgive me if this problem has been reported-- with the help of some of our Kerberos engineers, we tracked down why we can't authenticate our Solaris kerberos clients to Dovecot. Here's the deal: Our IT organization issued us kerberos tickets of the form imap at foobar.sfbay.sun.com Which I presume is their standard-- and

openssh-2.9p2, short hostnames
For systems where the local hostname is obtained as a short name without domain, there should be a ssh_config option "DefaultDomain" as in ssh-3.x from ssh.com. For the server, there might be a corresponding option in order to strip the domain name from the remote client name (if it matches the server's DefaultDomain) for use in auth_rhost2, since netgroups usually contain short

Dealing with roaming machines
Hey folks, As most of everyone, I use OpenSSH for almost everything and whenever I can: backups, sync, Git, configuration management, and of course console sessions. So much for an intro ;) My laptop and I roam between three networks, though sometimes I leave the laptop at the office overnight, or hop over to the third site for an hour or two. I'd like to find a way to configure OpenSSH (or
